“Easy check in at the bar, our room was small but fine for us, the only thing lacking is a mini fridge. The hosts and locals are great, friendly and down to earth people. The food is excellent and they serve well kept beers at a reasonable price. I would definately reccomend this place and we will stay again. 👍🇬🇧 ”

“The apartment was so clean I cannot fault anything. There is everything you need from plenty of crockery, coffee tea and sugar. We were only there for one night but I would happily use park view apartment for a week long stay. The beds are so comfortable and the lounge furniture was also comfortable ”

“Very friendly reception from the landlord Gareth who provided a most enlivening atmosphere in the Duke of Wellington ie a darts match for the men and Easter wreath making for the ladies. No food unfortunately but we found an excellent Italian restaurant in nearby Northallerton. The courtyard room was clean and comfortable, marred only by a very awkward shower - not easy to enter, due to lack of space.”

“The location was perfect, generally clean and modern property. There was a bit of an odour, not sure if former smoker or recent cooking, but a few candles or room freshers is just needed and the bathroom door was not working and reported it, they said had been reported before us but could not get the parts… had to move to the lounge at times for privacy reasons . Over all good stay and as needed ”

“Great communication from the host.The apartment was warm and welcoming and well equipped. The bed was so comfortable and there were additional pillows for different needs if required. It was lovely having a firm sofa to relax on, after a long day walking or visiting the myriad of pubs and bars nearby. The table and chairs were great too, so we could eat comfortably. ”

"El personal super calido y amable, en especial la chica que tienen en los desayunos, te hace sentir bienvenido y cuidado, solo que a mucho personal le hace falta su gafete con su nombre, lo cual es una pena y no se pueden identificar bien. Los cuartos son espaciosos y las camas son realmente cómodas, pero es decepcionante la limpieza, la tina estaba extremadamente sucia, en especial el desagüe, no es agradable bañarse en un lugar así. El gimnasio cuenta con mucho equipo variado y eso es un 10, pero es extremadamente frío y no nada agradable, tambien las maquinas las tienen oxidadas y da un pésimo aspecto a el área, como si estuviera descuidada. Claramente volveré al hotel, pero solo por su muy amable servicio, cómodas camas y excelente ubicación, sería increíble si pusieran atención a los detalles, le daría ése plus que necesita."
