“We absolutely loved everything about this place! Nikki and Sean made us feel so welcome! We arrived to fresh out of the oven cookies followed by a golf cart tour of their beautiful, historic town. The breakfast was amazing and the afternoon Happy Hour was a delicious spread of local goodies that we had to search out to take home with us. “We got in late but the owner was quite understanding and made us feel at home. Everything was clean and functioning. Next morning, the breakfast was very good and our host sat down and chatted for awhile. Very interesting local stories about the revolutionary and civil wars wars. Before we left, we got a few recommendations for restaurants in our next stop. Very nice overall.”

“I can’t say enough great things about this place. I booked three nights originally and ended up staying an extra night, the location is central to most places, stores, restaurants etc. It’s right on the beach, which I love. There were breakfast snacks in the kitchen area every morning and happy hour at 4 every evening. Even with other visitors, we never heard them moving throughout the house so each suite has its privacy. It was clean and all amenities were provided. I would recommend this...

“Returned 40 years later from our 1st stay, when it was in its original ocean front location, to this 2025 stay. Classic, historic, dedicated beach access, lovely grounds, lush landscaping and gardens, and a great vibe. Rocking chairs and porch swings harken back to the good ‘ol days. Wonderful breakfasts by Chef Georgia, with eclectic culinary creations. Just love this ‘old woodie’ hotel in the original classic OBX architectural style.”
