“Hotel Venusia is a beautiful hotel in the rather remote town of Venosa. We were there for two nights at the end of October, which was clearly off season. Our hotel room was large and clean, with a nice balcony. The downside was the bed was very hard, and the bathroom, particularly the shower, very small. “The place was impossible to find ,room was not what we asked for,they could not give us another room for 2 days as they said they were all booked.This i did not believe as i saw nobody at lunch,dinner or breakfast.Place was creepy because the isolation and lack of people.Place was beautiful and b.l.and dinner was good. The brother of the owner was the only bright spot,we left after one night.They said they would not”
