“We spent 9 wonderful nights at Michanvi sunset bay,a very quiet place,perfect for relax,beautiful grounds,stunning sunsets.Romantic candle dinners in different settings everyday,delicious food,good wine.Taking the full board option is advisable. Very good staff service and management. Perfect beach when high tide,a magical sandbar nearby during low tide. Room is basic but well appointed. ”

The hotel itself is newer so it’s really clean and the rooms are quite spacious. We only had the breakfast at the hotel and they had a lot of good options. El único pero sería la playa, que es relativamente pequeña y con las mareas el agua queda lejos cuando bajan. Sin embargo, para mi no le quita preciosidad, encanto o calidad al hotel. Los desayunos y cenas son fabulosos, los empleados encantadores, los servicios de 10... y lo mejor las puestas de sol desde el jetty bar. Sin duda repetiré si vuelvo a Zanzíbar”

“I am a solo female traveller. Zanzibar House is an excellent property in so many ways. The staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds are a delight to be in, with lots of comfortable places to sit and read or contemplate the beauty of the area. I did not use the pool and I am sure it would be lovely. At night time I had an evening meal which was tasty and they accommodated my dietary requirements very well. I am gluten intolerant. I recommend this hotel if you like quiet and beauty filled...

“A smaller hotel but with provided a great experience. The staff were outstanding from reception to the bar. The rooms were very cool (we had a family room) and large, clean and very well appointed. The restaurant always looked good with many options enough to satisfy kids too. The kids also loved the pool & table tennis games room. The Dive centre in the hotel was also excellent and one of the reasons we chose this hotel. It all worked well. Just over an hour from the airport but plenty stuff...
