He is an expert level two ranger; has deep knowledge of the nature and history of the land is completely unparalleled! There are many times where he was able to see animals that no one else could see because of his 40 years of experience in the bush. “You’re right on the edge of the best reserve in the area & the game drives are all on the Shamwari Game Reserve. These are better than we ever expected & our ranger/guide, Cillia, was the best! Daniel at the Lodge managed everything for us & was always there for our needs, nothing was too much trouble & he ensured everything ran like clockwork. Cynthia was brilliant, always smiling and calm, Ntombi was also excellent and helped us with our questions about local culture. Overall superb!”

“Needs major improvement... extremely cold rooms without heat and building needs also to be upscaled urgently. But the major issue was at dinner when a lady (probably the owner) approached us explaining that because there was not going to be electricity the next day I had to prepay all expenses + any future expenses, which I gladly did... but there was no electricity shortage the next day, even when I asked an employee they didn’t know what was so talking about.
