“No hotel staff at reception when we arrived at 6PM, the key was provided to us by a local ranger. the wifi does not work at all, we reported to the ranger that gave us the key but he could not help. he tried to call the hotel responsible but they did not really care. we could not connect to wifi at all during our stay. The apartment was not clean at all, cobwebs in every corner. ”

“A 30 minute drive from the Opren gate of Kruger Park and a good price/value considering other nearby accommodations are much higher priced. Seemed to be newer with a good air conditioner and was clean. This is not a true boutique hotel but more like a rental of a large 1 bedroom 2 story townhouse in a gated townhouse community on a hilltop. “This was our 5th visit to Elephant Plains. It's the most affordable option in the Sabi Sands and an excellent place to stay. Since our 2022 visit, they have updated the rondovels. They're super comfortable with everything you need. Staff were great. They seem to have simplified the food options (an improvement) and the quality is great. You go to the Sabi Sands for the exceptional leopard sightings and amazing safaris. This place does not dissapoint - in one drive we had 2 leopard cub...
