“Great value overnight trip”

“Started off really well. One of the people from The Crown (which is part of the same group and does amazing food? spotted us walking through town and came and helped us get in the front door. Went downhill from there. The room smelt of cigarettes when we arrive and there were burns in the carpet. The bathroom was filthy. There was a layer of dirt all over the floor, to the point that I thought maybe it was the cover of the floor to start with, until I realised the white bits of floor behind the...

“The shower did not drain, which resulted in the bathroom becoming flooded with water. The light in the seating area would not work. The pillows were very thin and so was the mattress. Overall a poor experience. ”

“We stayed for three nights in Snowy Lodge. Check in was easy, your keys are left in an envelope in the small reception, theres a map on the wall to tell you where to go. Take note with regards to check in and check out. Hotels.com states check in at 5 o'clock when its actually between 4 and 5 and check out at 9 when its actually 9:30 to 10. The location was great just near the river and a short walk from the town. The breakfast was great, you put your order in the night before and it was cooked fresh for the time you arranged.
