A lovely house in an ideal location

Beautiful property in a brilliant location (2 mins walk to beach and cafes). Ideal for larger family groups with plenty of living space and numerous bathrooms. Amazing views for the large lounge windows. At times the property needed to be slightly warmer - but we were there during a particularly cold spell. Will certainly visit again!

Really nice property, the upstairs lounge, kitchen and dining area are excellent and great for groups up to 10. Location wise, very close to small town centre and even closer to the beach

September Sunsets

What a view from the comfortable upside down front room. We were treated to some beautiful sunsets. The kitchen is well equipped and roomy. We enjoyed using the comfy velvet sofa here too for quiet moments.

3 Generations Holiday

Anglesey Holiday Lettings are an excellent company to deal with and we will definitely use them again. The property is in an excellent location and was perfect for what we needed. There were a few house keeping issues we reported on arrival and although they were not the responsibility of AHL they offered to come and rectify them immediately. The property just needs some basic maintenance in certain areas to bring it up to an excellent standard. Would we stay there again……yes we would.

A very pleasant bolthole

Booked at short notice to catch a good weather-forecast, this lovely place surpassed my expectations by some distance. The house is not a thing of beauty to look at, and is not 5-star accommodation by any means, but it is relaxed, comfortable, beautifully-clean, well-presented and ideally-located for all of the delights that Rhosneigr has to offer. We had a wonderful time from start to finish and, in similar circumstances, would stay here again without hesitation :)

Lovely location

The house is in an excellent location for the beach and village. The upstairs is lovely and the kitchen very practical. Some minor issues; very old flat pillows on beds, damp smell in one bedroom, living room window seal broken so a lot of noise and wind coming inside.

The property location was fantastic and the view of the sea delightful. We had everything we needed which meant we had a lovely stay. When we did have problems the team were very responsive which was great. There were still a couple of maintenance issues but they didn’t impact the stay. The downstairs would benefit from a paint refresh in the hallway and the carpet and sofas would benefit from a professional clean - that would create a much better impression.

Family fun!

We went to Llys Celeste for our son’s first birthday and had a ball! As a family of four (1 year old, 2.5 year old) and a dog the house provided great space for us. We loved the kitchen area and always had the bifolds open - we were blessed with beautiful weather. We all loved the proximity to the beach - perfect for those 5.30am morning walks with the dog whilst the rest of the gang were still sleeping, and even better for just popping back for the supplies/loo breaks whilst we spent days on the beach. Absolutely recommend - such a great house in a super location.

Great house and location with…..

We have recently returned from this property and the house is great, in a fabulous location and extremely well equipped. However, we must feedback that the beds are extremely uncomfortable and left most of our party with bad backs. Some of our party even cut their stay short because of poor sleep. My husband and I bought a mattress topper from Argos on the Saturday morning which made sleeping a little more comfortable in our room (by the courtyard). The base in the front bedroom may also be an issue as the 2 occupants kept rolling into the middle of the bed. We all found that some of the rooms were cold (lounge and front bedroom) particularly on the really windy days. Most of the middle bedrooms were too hot in the night and it was not clear how the room temperatures could have been modified. The carpet is quite stained with a big hole at the top of the landing. We would still recommend the property though as the space is great and the kitchen was really well equipped. We have booked again for May and I hope that the feedback regarding the beds is considered.

Llys Y Celeste

Really lovely property in the heart of Rhosneigr. It is opposite an entrance down to the beach, and the upside-down aspect to the property means that you have fab view of the sea and sunset from the living area. The kitchen diner is roomy and has a wonderful decked area with bifolds. The kitchen is really well stocked with plates, glasses and cutlery and everything you may need. Living room was large with lots of comfy seating. The bedrooms were also of a reasonable size with two having an en-suite which was also really useful. We loved it so much we booked again for next year. Only marked down on comfort and condition as one bed was a little broken, which made it a bit unstable, but reported to Anglesey Lettings and they said they would see to it. The only thing I would point out is that the as the toilets and bathrooms are downstairs if you have anyone with mobility issues, this may be an issue. Parking is limited to two spaces, which also could be restrictive, but there is street parking (although busy in peak times, so look out for a space if it comes up at the front on the road) Otherwise we would have no hesitation in recommending the property for a large group.

The perfect space for a larger family group (and a couple of dogs)

We wanted a holiday home for a long weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary, with our children, their partners, our grandchildren and our two dogs. Llys y Celeste is in a great location in centre of Rhosneigr and only 150 yds from the beach. It's near to all the cafes, bars and restaurants and has good parking. The massive kitchen/lounge/dining/room with bifold doors which open onto the terrace is great for a family get together. Having a separate lounge/TV room is also good because it gives a quiet space for people who want it. Well appointed bedrooms and four bathrooms and an extra loo make the house a very comfortable and easy space for a large family group. We'd happily book this house again for another family weekend.

Lovely family weekend

We absolutely loved staying at Llys Y Celeste. The house was perfect for the ten of us, 6 adults and four children. The living space was great, plenty of room for us all to spread out. We all enjoyed sitting in the window seat taking in the incredible sea views. The location is perfect, just a short stroll to the sea, shops, pubs and restaurants. We had lovely meals at Sandymount House and The Oyster Catcher, and so lovely that we could walk there and back. I may be being picky but the mattress in our room (the front double) could have been comfier but everyone else had a good nights sleep. The carpets were also showing their age, with some stains etc but clean so not a complaint. The kitchen is so well equipped, lots of crockery, glasses etc and very handy having two fridges. Have already recommended to friends and would love to come and stay again.

Great escape to Rhosneigr

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Llys Y Celeste. I could have spent hours on the window seat, G&T in hand, looking out to the bay and people watching. Amazing family entertaining space in the well stocked open plan kitchen / diner; especially when you open the full length doors onto the balcony area. The configuration of all of the bedrooms meant the family were well catered for, twins, bunks, masters and en suites; perfect. Dedicated parking for 2 cars at the property and plenty more very close by. Llys Y Celeste served us and our friends very well and comes highly recommended.

Overall were happy with the accommodation although some problems with it

Overall, it is a lovely property in a great location. The main downside is that some of the communal areas are too small for the number of people that the house can accommodate - the sitting room is too small which would be helped if there was another sitting area & TV in the kitchen area. Also, the main entrance has very little room to store shoes and coats etc which can become difficult given the number of people the house can accommodate and also trying to deal with dogs coming in and out. Also, it was a shame that the mattresses were not very comfortable - a better quality mattress would have made a big difference to our stay and quality of sleep.

Fabulous holiday home for larger groups

This was our third stay at Llys y Celeste and it won't be our last with two further bookings made for 2022. Can't beat the location nor the design of the house, particularly the rear kitchen and living area. Plenty of room for everyone to be in the same space whilst doing different activities or just lounging around together. The bedroom to bathroom ratio works well and the introduction of a warm water hose outside is very welcome for washing down sandy feet and paws when it's a bit chilly. The owners have done a great job in creating a house that offers the perfect environment for a happy, relaxing holiday for larger groups. The service provided by Anglesey Holiday Lettings was also great, from the ease of booking to the rapid response regarding a couple of small queries we had during our stay. Highly recommend this property and Anglesey Holiday Lettings.

Llys Y Celeste - a fabulous retreat

Amazing property with views of beautiful sunsets each evening. Excellent facilities - everything was catered for. Only difficulty we encountered was the stairs in the centre of the lounge caused us a problem with a 2 year old toddler. Disappointing though to see such a price 'hike' for 2022 otherwise we would have definitely re-booked

Another great family holiday

This is our second visit to Llys Y Celeste and it won't be our last. The property has been developed superbly for larger groups, allowing space for both time spent together and also for when you might want a bit of 'solo' time. The location is brilliant for the beaches and local services. The housekeeping standard is excellent, the response to any maintenance (rare) or property questions is immediate and the service from Anglesey Lettings is brilliant. We are returning in September and have booked ahead for next year also.

Another lovely stay in Rhosneigr

We originally booked a different property, but after 2 cancellations due to restrictions, Jamie at AHL was able to offer us Llys Y Celeste for a long weekend. It was unfortunate that due to the rule of 6, our full party weren't able to enjoy this lovely property for our special weekend - the dining and outside area particularly offer great social areas for larger groups. The location is perfect, just a few steps to the beach to the front and amazing views at sunset and sunrise from the upstairs living room. After many visits to the village, we were pleased to locate a shortcut path behind the property to access the lake or the Oyster Catcher too. A lovely property which we would love to visit again.
