We rented this cabin for our daughter and her husband for a few days after their wedding. This is her review: The second we entered, right after our wedding, my new husband and I had everything we needed. From cold water in the fridge and snacks on the table, cozy blankets galore and a warm fireplace to rest in front of. The best part was the swing on the porch, where we sat while watching it snow. There are plenty of just-in-case items. Though it is small, anything bigger would not have felt as warm and relaxing. We could not find a single thing we did not like about this cabin. BY FAR, this cabin was perfect for our mini-moon, and we plan to come back.

We had an amazing stay at the Fox Den cottage! So private on beautiful acreage for peaceful hikes and early morning coffee time on porch rockers and swing! The beds and sofas are so comfortable! We loved the indoor electric fireplace and outdoor fire pit. Our host thought of everything we would need !! We loved the fox theme and will always remember this very special gem in Rice Virginia!! It was very hard to leave!

By far, one of the best vrbo properties we've rented! Place was squeaky clean and owners go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and at home. Added touches included snacks, all linens and towels, fully stocked kitchen, toiletries, robes and cute decor. We chose the property in part for its location intersecting the high bridge trail- bring your bikes and enjoy!! Highly recommend!!!

Anniversary Weekend Getaway

We love this property, it is so quiet and peaceful We love the cottage and the hiking/walking that is all on site. The house is warm and inviting, decorated with farmhouse chic style. This is our second time and we came more prepared to not have to leave at all during our stay. We love napping on the porch and star gazing by the fire pit. Nicole and family are amazing hosts, making sure we have everything we need and more. We hope to go back in the fall.

Wonderful Weekend Stay

In town for our son's baseball game and we could not have been more impressed with this rental. Nicole thought of everything here and the cottage was immaculate. We had a pleasant and wonderful stay. Quote possibly one of the best rentals we have experienced. Thank you!

A wonderful escape to The Fox Den!

We had a wonderful stay at Nicole‘s property. Everything was perfect. The house was adorable and we truly enjoyed the fox theme. There were some really unique decor items. We loved how the place was decorated, it had a gorgeous kitchen-family room open space. Everything looked new and clean. The house was appointed with absolutely everything you would need and then some. We loved the privacy being surrounded by trees and nothing else. We did not get a chance to use the fire pit, but we will the next time. Nicole was very accommodating, easy to talk to and really kind. We loved this property and will definitely return. Highly recommend.

Home away from home

I received a 5 star from my wife for picking this place. Everything was clean and all the amenities were effortless to navigate. It definitely felt like home away from home. Charming place and hope we have an opportunity to return and stay longer.

Absolute Gem!! So peaceful and beautiful! Will stay again!

I cannot say enough about this property, the inside is stunning and loved all the details. Nicole made sure we had everything we needed and more. The outside property is vast, we walked and hiked twice a day. The road that goes up the hill allows easy access to the top of the trail. You can venture off on the side trails which lead you back to the main. We packed our snacks and food so we could fully take in this beautiful property. This place is gorgeous and the porch, wow loved the rocking chairs and swing, morning coffee view. Beautiful, Beautiful!!! We are already planning to come back. Thanks again Nicole for everything!
