What I liked, I loved: clean interior, well-equipped, spacious, a lot of “old house charm,” responsive host! Short drive into downtown. What I didn’t like, I hated: the neighborhood! Both nights, someone was racing up and down the street and gunning their engine at 2 am. Litter, litter everywhere including condoms and broken liquor bottles. Liquor stores are the only businesses in the neighborhood and there’s one on every corner. Did I feel unsafe in that neighborhood? No, but I’d still describe it as sketchy. The exterior of the house is not maintained well. When we first drove up, I thought, this can’t be it. The yard was over grown with weeds, the porch was filthy, but again, the interior was spotless. Would I recommend this place? Not without a warning. Again, it was clean, spacious, well-equipped, but not without its issues.
