“WHAT a discovery! I loved my stay at Canalside -- the room was beautifully updated, but still had those historic squeaky wooden floors that remind everyone to be a little quieter (it worked!). The coffee maker produced great morning joe; the shower got hot almost immediately; the bed linens were soft and the towels were a perfect blend of absorbent and scratchy. “Really well appointed place with homey touches. Was a bit confusing around where to park and needed to correspond with host for clarification. Mike responded promptly and took care of the issue. The unit is quite wheelchair accessible (no stairs, level entry). The bed was quite high for an easy transfer and there was no grab bar next to the toilet., but there was a sturdy one in the tub).
