Our son has a place at colonial creek. But the family has gotten to large for one house. So we started looking and found this place. It’s was awesome. Great location and great view. The only thing I would change is. I would cut smaller trees for more view of the lake. We will definitely be coming back.

Our stay at the Quick Retreat was exactly what we wanted for our vacation. We were able to dock our fishing boat at the dock, bring our family dog, fish and swim daily. The location felt safe, yet private. The home was clean and included everything that we needed. This was one of our favorite vacations and lots of wonderful memories were made!

Our stay at this lake house was absolutely wonderful! The photos and description are spot on—what you see is exactly what you get. The house is warm and inviting, equipped with all the modern amenities you could need. The kitchen offers plenty of storage for groceries and ample counter space, making it perfect for cooking and gathering. While it’s hard to pick a favorite feature, the porch with its rockers and swing overlooking the lake was truly special. It’s the perfect spot to watch boats drift by and take in breathtaking sunsets. After nine amazing days here, we’re sad to leave and wish we had another week. We’ll definitely be back!

It was hard to leave this lovely lake getaway - especially watching our 1-year old puppy joyfully take his first swim! Porches and open floor plan great for pets. Bunk bed room will be popular with the grandchildren. Fairy lights strung between oaks and pines on the hilly wooded lot were magical

Our stay was great from the start. The property was easy to find, secluded from neighbors and just what we wanted to relax. The cabin was beautifully furnished, all the extra amenities you could ask for and the paddle boards/kayaks were a great way to spend the time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay. Even though the water was low my husband caught a few fish. My grandchildren came over for a day and enjoyed playing on the paddle boards. I enjoyed the peace and quiet so I could catch up on my reading. All in all there was something for everyone to do.

Home away from home! More home than cabin. All the comforts of home nestled in the trees right on the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed the mornings and evenings on the deck, use of the provided kayaks and canoe and just fishing on the dock. Owners were super easy to work with and welcomed our two four legged family members, chocolate labs. We would highly recommend and we look forward to returning to Quick Retreat on Lake Wateree.

Elizabeth and David have a hidden gem in this property. It sits on a private lot on the lake with great amenities. The hosts are helpful and very responsive. It was very clean, and well supplied with everything you will need. I stayed during the weekend of the hurricane never lost power, cable or internet. I highly recommend this property for families or just the get away weekend for two.

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The house was comfortable, extremely well laid out for us with our 2 young kids and well equipped with what you need for cooking. We look forward to returning! Host was extremely responsive and great to work with. Location on the lake was wonderful - we used the dock for our 21ft center console, and the cove was quiet. One of our favorite features of the house was the view! We enjoyed evenings lounging in the sunroom and the view was stunning all weekend long.
