Nina was an amazing host! The property was even more beautiful than the photos showed. The house was clean and well stocked with cleaning supplies, kitchen items and even cut wood for the fire pits outside. We had an amazing week there and will absolutely be back. Also very kid friendly there! Plenty of board games and puzzles to have fun with!

Had a great weekend away with my parents and our pups. Cabin was beautiful, clean, kitchen well stocked. Very comfy beds and couch! Hope to return in the fall.

The cabin was clean and cozy. We enjoyed the beautiful views from the deck, comfortable bed and well appointed kitchen. The host was receptive to questions we had and we enjoyed our stay.

The property served our needs perfectly. We very much like the property and the approach that requires the travelers to bring their own bed sheets, linens, etc. This ensures the travelers are comfortable with the cleanliness of the linens, etc and it makes it so much easier for the host to prepare the property for the next travelers.Ideally, it would be nice if there were a large number of citronella plants growing down by the river area to help eliminate the mosquitos, etc, and some sort of "ramp" into the river making it easier to get the humans and their gear (i.e., canoe, kayak, etc) in and out of the river.

We wanted to visit Shenandoah National Park and wanted a private cabin to call home for the week. Nina was top notch and so easy to communicate with if needed. Cabin was super clean, amazing views and glorious hot tub after a day of hiking. If you’re looking for a comfy quiet spot, this is for you! Thanks Nina for sharing your wonderful cabin with us!

Our family of 4 has been renting cabins for the last 6 years and this was far and away the best we've been to yet. The local attractions and scenic views are amazing. The view from the cabin is phenomenal. The access to water is so convenient. My kids are already planning our next visit.

This is a great place to unwind and enjoy the wonders of Shenandoah valley. The deck has wonderful views of the mountains and the stars at night. When the temp was 95 its a good time to sit by the river ,lots of birds ,a very peaceful place.Getting down and back from the hot tub at night can be tricky. The papers on the frig says to use the basement ,but it is locked.

We had an amazing weekend, the views were perfect. The house was clean and cozy and the host was very nice and helpful. 10/10, we would definitely come back again.

The Star View Cabin was so cozy! It was perfect for a couples getaway. Communication was great. Check-in/out was easy. The kitchen was perfect for cooking and easy meal. The hot tub has great views.

We felt relaxed and comfortable as soon as we came through the door! The first thing we noticed was the the view from the living area with a fireplace in between, beautiful. Remote enough to feel like you're the only one's on the mountain, but close to Skyline, Shenandoah National Park, and Luray. The bed was so comfortable, perfect after a soak in the hot tub and sitting by the fire. Everything was just perfect, we will definitely stay again!

This was a truly stunning stay. We booked for our honeymoon and the views really are jaw dropping when you first see them. It never got old the entire stay. The cabin is set up with the basics. River across was lovely. A bit of a walk but with the wild flowers blooming it felt magical. Spending a week relaxing on the porch and sitting by the fire was the perfect trip. The hosts were lovely and helped when the wifi went out. There is also a lot of privacy despite the hosts being nearby, the forest is very dense! We heard so many new birds and saw many interesting insects which we were thrilled by. Would recommend this spot to anyone!

The host was exceptional and quick to respond to questions. Loved the cabin, it was in great condition, clean and very nicely set up. The views to the river and the mountains beyond were breath taking with the snow and ice from a recent storm.

Cabin was clean and bright; they did not exaggerate the quality of the view. Communication with the host was clear and prompt prior to and during our stay. Kitchen appliances were all clean and in good working order. Able to cook basic meals with the utensils, dishes, and equipment on site. Guidance to the river is easy to follow and very worth it.
