“We loved our stay at this property and wouln't hesitate to book it again the next time we visit. The property is located within walking distance of all of Kenmare's activities, restaurants, and shops. The kitchen is well-appointed and the bedrooms and bathrooms extremely comfortable. It truly felt like we were visiting our artistic aunt's house with beautiful art and attention to design in every room.”

“We really enjoyed Elizabeth’s home. The views were wonderful, the home relaxing and comfortable. The walk into town was easy- although the walk back up the hill was challenging ( no fault of Betty’s haha) The location couldn’t have been better for the day excursions and it’s nice to be able to leave and return at will. Next time we are in County Kerry we will definitely visit again!”

“The location is beautiful and private and easy to find . Accommodation is spacious and comfortable enough ( apart from the pillows but everyone has different preferences) but felt a bit dark . It seems there is a damp issue as the property unfortunately smelt mildewy and the bed clothes were all damp on arrival which meant we had to use own blankets for the night - we wondered if there is scope to improve ventilation . The water took a long time to heat for a bath … We walked on local footpath...

“Ein sehr schönes Haus zum verweilen. Sehr gut eingerichtet. Schöner kleiner Garten. Zum draußen sitzen allerdings im Mai zu kühl. Hervorragende Betten. Große Bäder mit Basic Kosmetik. Heizung! Zum Ort fussläufig. Sehr bequem. Wie überall in Irland ist man sehr lange unterwegs auch wenn man nur eine kleine Strecken zurücklegen muss. Also viel Zeit einplanen. Insgesamt sind wir sehr zufrieden”

“What can I say, an absolutely gorgeous house and what a view!! The house exceeded our expectations- we travel with 2 wheelchair users and often struggle but this house was perfect for us. Kathleen was very quick at responding to our messages and extremely helpful with all our queries. The local area was full of friendly people and so very beautiful. I would 100% recommend this place for a perfect holiday, we all would love to go again”

“We chose this house so we could visit Skellig Island. Sadly, the trip was cancelled due to stormy weather but we didn't mind too much as the house was such a pleasure to hunker down in! We used our downtime to catch up on showers, laundry, rest, and relaxation before resuming our tour around Ireland. It was a lovely house with plenty of room to spread out, watch Banshees of Inisherin, and eat take away from Dooley's in our PJs. “Simon was easy to communicate with and the property was clean. It’s a lake property so there were many spiders throughout the property. No big deal for us though. The road getting to the property was mostly a one lane road. It was a little nerve wracking during the evening hours. Great week visiting Ireland!”

“The property is outstanding and we could have sat on the couches and stared out the window, all week. You can see cliffs, a beach and a beautiful view to hills on the other side of the bay. We had a couple of days of poor weather and simply stayed in and enjoyed the property. We had a few mechanical issues but most of them were our own ignorance of how the appliances worked. “Cute little place. The check in process was seamless. Jamie was easy to contact. They even left out some cereal and coffee for us which was so kind! Rooms were spacious.”

“The most beautiful view/scenery you could expect. Sun in the morning was like waking up in heaven. Bathroom needs a little work, shower/toilet is a bit finicky, but the location and spectacular view makes it worth it. We would book it again.”
