“Relaxing stay at a cabin that had adequate space for family”

“All of us, including our dog, had a great time. The place was clean. It really is in a quiet location. The property manager is very nice and responsive.”

“Nice quiet property on the lake. Check in process and communication with owner was smooth. Everything clean and in working order. Plenty of pots and pans for cooking but not enough drinking glasses. (They do have some plastic ones). Renter should be aware there are no basic spices not even salt and pepper. Overall a nice, quiet and relaxing place to stay.”

There were 9 adults and one pre-teen and we had plenty of room - no one felt crowded or cramped, there were plenty of bathrooms to suit us all, and the kitchen table was large enough for all of us to sit around it and play games! “This easily could have been five stars, however we had a few minor issues. To start off with, the heat in the home was not working when we arrived! Local property management was quick to arrive at the property to try to correct the issue. Required two different trips by the furnace repair guy. In talking to the property manager, I was told that this was a 'known issue' with this property! “Stayed at this property for a ski weekend at the local resort. It was a great location (10 min drive both to the ski resort and the local town). We appreciated the opportunity to have a peaceful and beautiful place to stay that was away from the ski resort crowds. Our kids loved the games that the host had making s’mores in the firepit near the lake. The house is beautifully done. There was a maintenance concern (beeping fire alarm) during our stay but the host promptly addressed the issue....

“We stayed for the weekend! Really nice property. Lots of room and private but a quick drive to town.”

“The cabin is small and lacks privacy but has good lake access. While the cabin has the basics the really important things are not being maintained. We first ran out of propane which runs the hot water heater, stove and grill (and they have two tanks). Then the septic tank was full and we couldn’t use the toilet from about 10 pm until 3pm the next day.
