“This is a great example of glamping (glamorous camping) and if we were 20 years younger, it would have been a fun, quirky adventure. It is a tiny house experience with a lofted bed you reach by ladder and a remarkably effective port-a-potty kind of toilet. The location is amazing and the property is fun. Unfortunately for us, we’re not 20 years younger and the ladder ended up defeating me. If you’re flexible and athletic - give this a try! It’s a definite improvement over a tent ”

“Ocean front retreat was a wonderful memory for us to stay. Enjoyed every corner of the vacation home. The hot tube was easy to access, a lot of mosquitoes around 9pm, if you can, book a bit early. Sunset on the beach was beautiful.
The curtain fail off on the 2 rd day when we are cooking, reported to landlord, she was easy to communicate with. Highly recommend.”

“The host was pleasant. The location of the property was ok, the view was excellent. But, the property was misrepresented and was not a “luxury private villa “, instead it was a basement suite in a shared home. Unfortunately, the property inside and outside was poorly maintained. The black mold, pink mold, grease, hair, dust bunnies, and finger prints on windows and appliances was unhealthy. Lack of mattress covers, top sheets, fitted sheets was disappointing. Definitely not worth the money and...

“The resort is 30-40 minutes north of Powell River, near Lund. The highway is twisty and winding. No wifi except at the resort. Our unit was a 2 bedroom basement apartment with kitchen. Cabins have no kitchen. The BBQ was dirty and the pizza oven broken in September.”

“This cabin was extremely overpriced for what it is and the time of year. This is our only complaint. This is a 100 per night cabin max in late October. It is a cabin that has a out house toilet and no kitchen. We feel ripped off.”

“We LOVED our stay at the Valdi Homestead! It was such a calming, well thought-out cabin, surrounded by such beautiful nature. We had so much fun meeting the farm animals (especially the surprise bonus puppies!). Alex and Vanessa were so welcoming and kind, and truly made us feel so at home. Highly recommend for a relaxing and cozy getaway!”

“The cabins were wonderful.I came into town for first aid training and stayed two nights. The owners responded very quickly, gave me all the information that was needed and the pictures reflected the cabin very well. I wish I had more time.\nTo feed the animals as there was food in the cabin for them. I found the bed very comfortable and the bath tub fit me well , i'm 6'2". The hot tub was great, but I was only utilize it one night because I was studying, thank you”

“This was a beautiful place to stay. Made even more fun by constant bunnies and deer on the property. Photos represent the suite nicely. Our only problem with our stay was that the hosts had construction on the property starting on our 1st day. This caused the suite to lose internet. Communication to try and resolve the issue was always initiated by us and spanned over the next 3 days, this resulted in many unread texts and long spans of no communication from the host. When the problem was not...

“Everything was excellent for our stay. The kitchen and bathroom were very well stocked (more than other VRBO places we’ve stayed) and it was nicely organized for easy use. We appreciated the Smart TV and living room space. There was a variety of books and board games along with access to many streaming networks on the TV. The covered deck area was perfect for a quiet morning or evening hangout space. All the appliances and beds seemed to be in basically new condition. We would highly recommend...
