“The instructions for arrival were detailed and helpfully so. It didn’t detract from the excitement of the drive though. You need a car big enough to tackle the terrain and small enough to fit the track! The house was spotless and very well equipped. There was a thoughtful welcome basket including wine and pasta. “Guiglia is a wonderful small town that's centrally located in Emilia Romagna. We are 2 couples that stayed for a week and the location was a centrally located to Bologna, Modena and Parma. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. “Wir genossen den Blick auf die Landschaft, das Schwimmen im Pool, viel Platz für zwei Familien. Und die phantastischen Ausflugsziele. Da fiel es leicht, die verschiedenen Unbequemlichkeiten in Kauf zu nehmen, die zu den beiden so wunderbar alten Häusern gehören. Da gab es auch viele kleine liebevolle Details. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber lief reibungslos (auf italienisch) und er war sehr freundlich. Der Garten war an einer Seite durch eine Hecke umzäunt, da wäre mir ein richtiger Zaun lieber gewesen. Mein kleiner Hund ist einmal sehr übermütig durch die Hecke durch und dahinter die ca. 2-3 Meter hohe Mauer hinunter...

“Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön, in einem großen Garten mit Pool. Die Hausherrin ist sehr nett und versucht trotz wenig Englisch für das Wohlergehen zu sorgen. Ausflugsziele sind leider swhr weit entfernt. In der Nähe sind allerdings die sehenswerten Städte Lucca und Barga.”

“Unsere Dreigenerationenfamilie verbrachte zwei herrliche Wochen in der alten Mühle. Wir genossen die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit. Das Grillengezirpe und das Plätschern des Baches war die einzige Geräuschkulisse. Der Pool wurde rege benutzt. Unter dem Nussbaum fanden wir ausreichend Schatten. Der Pizzaofen wurde oft eingefeuert und wir fühlten uns schon fast wie Pizzabäcker. Die Kinder fanden viele abenteuerliche Spielmöglichkeiten rund um die Anlage. “The property is a lovely old stone cottage and really is tucked away, very private & with lots of outside space. It has a well equipped kitchen & a welcome coffee machine, which you can buy additional pods for when visiting Lucca. The pool and parking areas are accessed via a number of steps so would recommend this to people who do not have mobility issues. “After a precarious drive up, we were blown away by the views and pool at this property. It is breath taking. There is a wonderful restaurant just up the road and a fantastic town below. Really great place to bring groceries, sit by the pool and relax. We had a fabulous spa day in the town, also. LOVED this stay and hope we can return!”

“We can describe our stay in this house in Vico Pancellorum in 1 word: Fantastic! The house is situated on a hill in a beautiful medieval village. The place is very serene and peaceful (no traffic at all, except for some locals by foot), and makes you feel like you've travelled back in time. The house has 3 floors and from every room the view is amazing. The garden with swimming pool (and also these great views) is a real treat, and the jacuzzi in de basement is 'the cherry on top'....
