“Lovely eco-friendly resort with very comfortable apartment style rooms with spa baths. Outdoor eating are closed in with screens and glass so you have a tree top view of the outdoors. Washing machine and dryer on both ground floor and first floor of the building we stayed in. Has all the amenities you could want for a lovely couple or family get away. ”

“Would definitely stay again, and longer. King sized bed in one room with an ensuite, and a queen and single bed in the other, with a separate bathroom in room 1083. Really large comfortable L-shaped lounge with large TV. Good kitchen. Lovely outlook of both the river and a slight ocean view. The beds were really comfortable with a pillowtop. “Parking is shocking around Byron Bay, The Shire is greedy and tourists will stop coming when you have a $5 per hour parking policy - so you get a coffee for $3.50 and pay $10 parking!! Ridiculous!! So you have lost me Byron Bay. Problem is, you can’t even park in the street to check in (maybe they should have a private spot) Parking at hotel is excellent once you have checked in, at the hotel car park I feel sorry for any business in Byron Bay as in my opinion, the Shire will close them up...

“The Cove at Yamba was Awesome, we had an apartment with kitchen, it had a 65" Smart TV, and large balcony that we enjoyed our own cooked breakfast, and they assisted us with booking a courtesy bus to the Tavern. Also got a late checkout, they were no fuss hosts, very helpful & friendly! I'd stay again.”

“The resort is lovely with a number of places to eat nearby. The apartment is best suited for families with teenagers not young children as the rooms are not adjoining. They have separate access. The apartment is part of the resort but privately owned so reception will not attend to any queries. One of the access cards wouldn’t enable access to pools. The bathroom tap in studio constantly ran. Rather than fixing it, there was a sign stating that the tap drips with tips of how to fix it -“turn...
