We couldn't have picked a better property to stay at for this trip. It met all the marks for us. It was cozy and welcoming, clean and well maintained, and included amenities that were a cut above the rest. Great for a family getaway!

Nice and clean cabin with lots of amenities. So nice and relaxing atmosphere with the hot tub looking at the mountains. Great outdoor facilities with grills, both gas and fire, fire pit, lots of seating outside and games for entertainment.Great location!

This was a great place to stay the house was exactly as listed. Central to Smoky Mountains, Cherohala skyway, tail of the Dragon, TN, and GA.Jason and Madeline were easy to get a hold of with any questions and quick to respond. They were great hosts.My husband liked that there was car wash items on the property. We would defiantly recommend staying here.

Best Vacation Cabin Ever

Property is breathtaking and very well maintained. Many added amenities like hot tub, yard games, outside lighting, spices. Hosts were wonderful and answered all our questions promptly. Highly recommend and can’t wait for our next trip here!

Darling Cabin

Humble Roots Rest is the most darling cabin in such a beautiful setting. My husband and I enjoyed it from start to finish. The cabin was so clean and wonderfully appointed. They did not miss a beat! We hope to be back to enjoy with family and friends in the years to come. ❤️

Great cabin!

We towed our car to do the Tail of the Dragon and also explore the area. There was plenty of room for the car hauler, truck and car. The cabin was awesome, nicely decorated (especially if you are a car or motorcycle guy). Fire pit, hot tub, and even a place to keep your toys covered from the elements. Convenient location close to town and only about 25 minutes to the Dragon. The owner was always attentive and available if any questions. Definitely a 5 star stay, we will be back for sure.

Perfect Weekend!

Beautiful, quiet little getaway for my husband and I. Alot of little extra touches made us not really want to leave the cabin at all! Enjoyed the hot tob, fire pit, and the expresso machine!

Beautiful cabin

We spent New Year's at the cabin and we had a great time. The property is huge. My 2 year old had a blast running outside and roasting marshmallows by the fire. The owner have great and fast communication. Everything in their place was carefully thought of. We will definitely recommend to friends and family!

Perfect relaxing getaway

Everything in this cabin has been thought out, from the decor, amenities and the comfort of furniture and beds! This place make it feel like home!! We throughly enjoyed our relaxing stay. We made fires at night in the fire pit and relaxed to a quiet night under the stars. The hot tub is a nice perk also!! We found ourselves In kayaks on lake santeetlah with rentals just a few miles away. Thank you Jason and Madeline for a much needed break from the grind for us. 5 stars 🌟 🌟🌟 🌟 🌟

Our stay was great! We had a connection issue causing us to not receive our check in code by the time we arrived. I sent the owners a text message when we got there and they responded immediately! The cabin was beautiful and clean. It had everything we needed and then some. Will definitely remember this property for future mountain trips!

The best ever!

Secretly I don’t want to share how amazing this place is because I don’t want it to be booked up whenever we come again lol. Such a great place with amazing views. All the attention to detail in the home for Decore and all the things you may need to feel at home are fantastic! Property manager was great at communicating. Already have dates planned to come back and bring our kids!

Beautiful, romantic mountain stay

We have stayed in many properties throughout North Carolina, and I have to say, this was the best! It is beautifully decorated inside, which made it feel more special. And the outside was even more amazing!! We used the hot tub, which was big and new and had no problems. And we sat by a fire wrapped up in the blanket that was left for us burning wood that was also left for us!! All we had to do was relax. It truly was an amazing stay. If you are like me and read EVERY review before booking a place, I write this review to ease your mind. It IS the place to book. You will NOT be sorry. The owners understand what it means to rent out a property. I highly, HIGHLY recommend!!

Cozy hospitality

This cabin was fantastic! Madeline and Jason have thought of EVERYTHING to make for a comfortable and hospitable vacation. They were kind and communicative and made the whole process very easy. There's a great view of the mountains, spacious hot tub, plenty of options for hangout spaces, a well-equipped kitchen, and very comfortable beds! Everything was incredibly clean and exactly as stated in the listing. Would hope to return for another visit someday! Highly recommend!

awesome place

home was very clean and had everything you needed to be comfortable. Communication with the owners was excellent ..The décor was nice the hot tube was awesome and you can tell they really put love into building this place. Property was lovely as well. Would stay again had a great time!

We hit the VRBO lottery!

Never have we been the first guests at a VRBO, we took a chance and won the VRBO lottery! This trip was like a 5 star hotel up on a mountain with beautiful views. Everything we needed to feel at home in this sooooo cozy cabin was provided. Nespresso, Treager grill and relaxing hot tub w/blue tooth were such a treat. The owners are great hosts and were so kind to us!! Highly recommend and will be back.
