“Very nice B&B. Room was spacious and very nicely decorated. Properly was lovely. Gardens, pool, spa. There was a resident Zebra and a small herd of Springboks. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast delicious, many choices, both buffet and hot, fresh made. Would highly recommend!”

The only thing that was a bit strange was that breakfast had to be pre-ordered the night before, and coffee/tea was not included. And they have no lunch. I guess my feedback is that they should have more food options available. Another note to future visitors - the mountain road up to the hotel was a bit difficult if you have a smaller car. But other than that it was perfect.”

“A warm welcome from Luc & Hilda, we were given a large, nicely decorated modern room with very comfy bed and the shower room & toilet were to the same high standard. “We’ve stayed 3 or 4 times at Excelsior, and, as last visit, had a wonderful time. The setting is amazing, Kirstin who runs it is lovely, very efficient and an amazing cook!
