Very easy driving directions to an absolutely gorgeous and impressive three story getaway! Our blended family and friends were thrilled with the accommodations and plentiful bathrooms. We thoroughly enjoyed foosball and checkers and new favorite game indoor shuffleboard!! There were options of getting away from family and options to gather. We appreciated the very long country table for our Thanksgiving feast. The stocked kitchen with any utensil, pot or pan, and the staples for the bathroom and kitchen were very welcome and used. Thank you so much for making this Thanksgiving a trip to remember.

We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and the large deck the most. We used the big fire pit as well as the hot tub. Those we great. It fit our family ranging from 9-82 very well. Thank you.

We absolutely loved this house. It is a beautiful home in the woods and the porch is amazing for morning coffee, afternoon games, and evening hot tub. The kitchen is well stocked and I appreciated that they had basic seasonings too. The downstairs game room was perfect for all the kids and a great place to spread out. The location is about 20-30 min drive from most of the trails and about 15-20 from lake Logan where we rented a pontoon. We would definitely stay here again!

Loved the Redwood Lodge

We recently stayed at this cabin with three families, and it was absolutely perfect for our group! The space was comfortable and had everything we needed. We especially loved the large covered porch where we spent a lot of time relaxing and watching the rain roll in — so peaceful. The hot tub was a big hit as well after long days of hiking.The location couldn’t have been better. It was super convenient to Cantwell Cliffs (just minutes away), and we were only about a 25-minute drive to other great hikes in the area. The owner was wonderful — when we had a small issue with the television, they responded quickly and replaced it with a new one the very next day.The only downside, as others have mentioned, was that the beds were a bit uncomfortable and very squeaky, which made for some restless nights. But overall, that wouldn’t stop us from coming back — we’d definitely book again for another getaway!

Friends of the Hocking Hills

The lodge was even more beautiful in person than it was in the photos! There was plenty of space for our family of 13. We liked the location as it was a short drive to all the hiking trails. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice getaway

Lovely Cabin

Overall, my family's stay at the Redwood Lodge was lovely. The location was peaceful and a 10-30 minute drive from everything we wanted to see. However, for light sleepers or large groups who keep different sleeping hours, this cabin might be a challenge because it is notably loud and creaky. From the main floor bedroom, any shift on a bed or step taken upstairs can be heard. Those sleeping on the lower level didn't hear much. Also, given the price, we were surprised that some hotel-level amenities were not provided (shampoo/conditioner/body wash) as well as some common household items (multipurpose cleaner in the kitchen, a dish drain, Tupperware). A couple of the bathtubs were also slippery and could use grips. Still, it was a lovely vacation!

PERFECT FOR FAMILY TRIP

Such an amazingly beautiful place & location, exactly as pictured, for our recent family trip. Property was very clean & had everything we needed to have an enjoyable time making memories. Weather was not cooperative, on the two rainy days, we made use of the game room especially the shuffleboard table, and the ring game on the covered porch, alot of wildlife on property, which my grandsons enjoyed, we saw deer in the woods below from the porch & a turkey came up on the stairs to the sliding glass door on the wrap around porch. Thank you we absolutely enjoyed our stay.

Hocking Hills OH Family Trip!

My husband and I give experiences to our Kids and their families! The Redwood Lodge was perfect! Great setting in the woods! We very much enjoyed the large front porch with fireplace! Inside was cozy and beds were comfortable!

Fantastic lodge in beautiful area

This property is great. It is exactly like the listing. We had eight adults and one toddler for our extended weekend vacation. The house is very spacious with a bathroom on each of the three floors. The wrap around porch was a fun place to hang out. We did a lot of hiking in Hocking Hills State Park. Depending on which area we went to it was a 15 to 30 minute drive. Highly recommend this property.

Spring Gathering

This was our second time at this cabin, we love it. The house is well equipped and so comfortable. Close to Hocking Hills and downtown Logan. The hot tub was a hit this time! Weather did not permit a fire this time unfortunately. The covered porch and fireplace saved us. Will stay again.
