Beautiful river valley with "catch and keep" rainbow trout fishing.
Rockbridge is an unincorporated community in northern Ozark County, Missouri. It is the site of an old mill on spring fed Spring Creek a tributary of Bryant Creek, which still houses the post office. It is twelve miles north of Gainesville, Missouri. On the property there is a gristmill, a post office general store and lodging options. Oh my gosh! What a stunning place. It takes awhile to get there, but man is it worth the trip. Such a serene setting! I took my parents for breakfast, there is a fantastic restaurant in the general store, then we went and looked at the mill, creek, dam and trout hatchery! When the pub opened (Its inside the 1800’s grist mill btw) I set my parents down and they watched the anglers trying to catch the trout in the creek below. While they observed the action, I walked around to take pics of all the scenery. From the pub you have a unique vantage point as you can see hundreds of fish in the water below that are not visible to the people fishing at ground level, so it’s fun to try and guess who will and won’t catch a fish! Let’s talk about the people there. Each and every person was truly amazing. So friendly and hospitable. They really made you enjoy your time there! Staff were responsive and very friendly. Hotel is old, nasty black mold ceiling tile in the hallway, outlets in the room not working, and the desk chair was broken. If you have heavy luggage I hope you are able to haul it up stairs because there is no elevator.

Everything was great. Great place to stay. It lacked wash clothes but i bought some. And the driveway was very rough. Very good kitchen it has a washer and dryer. Nice bathroom. Close to town
