“My stay at The Bell Inn was wonderful! The bed was so comfortable...I slept really well! The food at the The Cellar was excellent! I would stay here again!”

“We enjoyed our two night stay immensely. How could we not, with a lovely view of Good Harbor Beach and a seven minute walk to get there. The staff was EXTREMELY helpful and welcoming. The property is clean, attractive and well maintained and the Continental Breakfast was well-stocked and appreciated. The ONLY downsides: the water, which took several minutes to get hot (which they made us aware of at check-in) and the shower which was a bit crowded with the soap dispensers on the wall. And...

“Honestly the best hotel I’ve been to in my life. I loved the full sized fridge and all the items you could possibly need to cook. Having lamps with the USB-C charging port was also a plus. The Brita filter in the fridge was unexpected but highly appreciated. And the A/C that actually gets to the temp you set it to? Amazing. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I’ll be recommending The Courier to any friends or family that are thinking of coming to Salem.”

“Excellent location, easy self-checkin, responsive offsite staff. The room was cozy, clean, and included everything I needed. The only issue was noise - I could hear the people who checked-in above me from 5 pm till they finally went to bed a little after midnight. People seem oblivious to how easily impact noise travels in old NE construction. My room was also overlooking the parking lot and noise carried up easily from that.”

“Wonderful room, cool decor and such a neat building. The bed was super comfortable and the space to hang out in the room was relaxing. Location is perfect for browsing the shops and eating out. Using text to communicate with the concierge was also very convenient and easy.”

“We enjoyed our stay and due to the weather extended it an extra night with no problems. There is no front desk service -- all communication with our hosts was done through text messaging, but they were quick to respond, and our room was made up daily. The room was lovely and very comfortable. No breakfast or food on site, but there are good dining options a short walk into town. Great location for exploring the waterfront and downtown Rockport!”

“The waterfront view from the hotel porch is amazing. The hotel is very cozy and nice. Unfortunatelly, there's no elevator to access the second or third floors where my room was, so carrying the luggage is a hassle. The room is correct and confortable.”
