    You can't get any closer to the ocean and the Cape Hatteras National Seashore than in Madjoy! This stunning home is only a few steps from the beach. Wake up to a gorgeous sunrise over the Atlantic and a crisp, salty breeze. With amenities galore and plenty of space for your whole family to relax, you'll be on island time before you know it.

    Throughout the home, you'll find comfortable furnishings, coastal decor, and everything needed for your best vacation yet. The high ceilings in the great room offer extra space, and there's plenty of seating for a movie night or game night after a long day in the sun. The kitchen holds everything needed to prepare delicious meals for your whole crew to enjoy. The dining table is perfect for family-style meals, and there is bar seating in the kitchen.

    As you travel downstairs, you'll find the game room. Get ready for endless games of pool, snacks, and TV. The game room comes complete with a wet bar, mini-fridge, and microwave. Rest easy in one of the spacious bedrooms after a full day of vacation fun with your choice of beds listed below. Enjoyed sandy fun but need to cool off? Splash around in the private pool and let your worries drift away. Once you finish in the water, rinse off all the sand and saltwater in the outdoor shower. Finish off the evening with a relaxing soak in the hot tub underneath the stars.

    The private pool will open seasonally from 04/01/2026 and close 10/10/2026. Dates are subject to change.
    You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check-in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement.

    *Oceanfront homes are subject to beach nourishment projects scheduled by individual towns. Ask us about any planned beach nourishment in our area.*

Perfect Property

We loved our stay at this property! We had 10 guests total (7 adults, 3 kids) and the house was perfect for accommodating our large group. We especially loved the convenient access to the beach. This was our first time visiting the Outer Banks and everyone in our party raved about this house. You won't regret booking it!

Wonderful house steps to the beach. Beautifully decorated spacious house convenient to several restaurants and grocery stores. Many balconies in house with spectacular ocean views. Elevator made moving in and out so easy. Pool and hot tub clean. Game room with mini frig and pool table with easy access to pool and a balcony with beautiful ocean views. Easy walk to fishing pier.

House location, rooms, bathrooms, common areas, kitchen, and dining were perfect for the 10 of us. The peer is right next to us and we LOVED fishing. My mom is handicapped and the elevator was amazing. The pool was pristine and the railing was also perfect for my mom. If the owners did a refresh of the dining supplies (silverware, coffee mugs, etc), got better quality mattresses, upgraded the TVs, and replaced the broken outdoor furniture it would be five stars.

Great Beachfront

This was a great vacation for our family. Loved being able to walk straight out to the beach and the pool for cooling off. It had plenty of room and decks to spread out. Over all a great house. We did have a couple cleaning issues and some upkeep that has been addressed, but it would not keep me from coming back.

no large pots available.Was not very clean.Enjoyed pool and hot tub.Missing entire cupboard door in kitchen, bar stool seat was off and on the floor, shampoo in bathroom was empty, hose was left out, elevator did not initially work, sliding door didn't open, cable in game room did not work. I understand little things can go wrong, but it's hard when you walk in and it's not clean and then those little things add up to a lot. The view and access to the beach was amazing though.

Second visit

We stayed at Madjoy before the pandemic shut us all in and liked it so much we returned this year. Our family of 9 grew to ten so it was a bit tight but the proximity to the beach and the elevator made reserving it again a no brainer. Our girls are already talking about reserving it again next year!

Ocean getaway

Overall our trip was great! We enjoyed the location of the house! We enjoyed being right on the beach and being able to walk right on the beach! The house needs lots of maintenance! All maintenance issues have been reported and hopefully will be repaired soon!
