  • Casetta Giolitti is a new and welcoming apartment, in the heart of the Eternal city, which enjoys a strategic position, as it is located near Termini Station (the main hub of the city and connection with Metro A and B in Rome).

    From here, all the monuments of Rome will be easily reachable, on foot or with the main means of transport.

    If you are looking for strategic, clean and bright accommodation, this is the right place for your Roman holiday.



    It is located on the 5th floor of a historic building, with a lift. It is a very bright and quiet space, just renovated, with soundproof windows, bathroom and kitchen equipped with every essential comfort for your stay. The accommodation is completed by a very spacious double bedroom, with the possibility of adding two more guests.



    The floors are the historic ones from the early 1900s, the bathroom has exposed bricks, vaulted brick ceilings; we have tried to preserve the history of the building, combining it with a minimal and colorful style!

The apartment wasn't exactly as it's described or pictured, The picture that was taken of the block that the property was in, was only taken of the apartments and does not include the street view. There is an obvious reason for this as it does not look great. We were very unsure of whether to stay here as it made us feel uneasy people always hanging around outside the door and rubbish everywhere. However, we had no problems at all during our 4 night stay, the apartment was very 'cosy' and would probably suit a couple more than a family but we managed fine, and the apartment had everything we needed and was done very nicely. ( sofa bed wasn't the most comfortable). Location wise, the apartment was great, opposite the train station and metro, so easy to get about the city. Walking wise, the main sights of Rome were between 30 and 45mins walk.

Alles reibungslos, sauber, gut organisiert. Nur das Schlafsofa geht gar nicht, schlimmer wie ne Hängematte. Und vielleicht den Wasserdruck an der Dusche checken. Es kommt nur sehr wenig Wasser raus.

We stayed in this apartment in Rome with four people and overall had a pleasant stay. The location is excellent, directly across from the main train station, which makes it very easy to get around the city and explore different parts of Rome.One of the highlights is that the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore is just around the corner, which is a beautiful and historically important church.The apartment itself is very simple and basic, but it has everything you need. The kitchen allows you to cook your own meals, and there is also a washing machine, which is very convenient when traveling. The room and the shower are both perfectly fine and functional. Nothing luxurious, but everything works.There is also an elevator in the building, which is helpful, especially when traveling with luggage.The hosts were very friendly and explained clearly how everything works, including the key system and access to the apartment.Overall, this is a very simple place, but the price-performance ratio is fair, especially considering the excellent location. We enjoyed our stay.

Loved everything except the futon bed. Owner put a topper on it for me but it was still not comfortable. I am an older woman who did too much walking so it could just be me. Loved every other aspect. If you want an authentic apartment experience, this is going to be for you. It is very close to the train. We walked from there when we arrived in Rome. Used the washing machine and hung clothes on the line. Had great coffee and although there's a mini mart store next door, don't buy without double checking the price. I think I paid 14 Euros for a quart of orange juice. My traveling companion and I appreciated the bottle of Prosecco the owner left for us (thus the orange juice) and maps and tote bag. He was available when we had isssues with figuring everything out. Having the elevator was a necessity for us, so we appreciated that on the 5th floor. There were people milling about outside by the front door but never felt unsafe. Taxi was easy to access and although we didn't use it, the underground was not terribly far to access. The cleanliness was not an issue, but this apartment is old and if you are expecting a Hotel experience you will not be happy here. We loved it.

The location of the apartment is convenient to the metro and Termini train station. The area surrounding the apartment and Termini train station isn't the best, with some shady characters but if you keep your wits about you, you'll be fine. The sofa bed is horrible- extremely uncomfortable. The apartment is best suited to couples that don't require to use it to sleep. We found the apartment to be very dusty and in need of a good clean. The shower pressure in the larger part is awful- we ended up using the smaller attachment instead. The reason we booked this apartment was due to it having a washing machine as well as having a 9.2 wonderful rating, however it was moldy and covered our clothes in mold. I ended up buying bleach and trying to clean it myself but the rubber seal and drum had so much mold. Disgusting. Communication was good, but we definitely wouldn't stay here again based on this visit. For the issues we experienced, I didn't contact the host as we had already checked and and quite frankly, didn't want the hassle. We also had issues with the electric going off when the washing machine was being used, meaning that it reset to the start again. A 45 minute wash could take 2hours depending on how often it happened.

Very clean apartment, close to the train station which was ideal. The communication team was 10/10 and always insured we were safe and taken care of. Worth the money spent!

We were grateful for the smooth check in process, the local recommendations and for the close proximity of the apartment to the train station! The apartment was clean and spacious, we had everything we could possibly need for a cozy space in Rome - thank you again!

Great host and great location!

The stay was amazing! Location was great right next to Roma Termini. Was able to take the metro to the Vatican and walk back and see all of Rome sights in one day. The entire Made In Roma team was incredible and their communication was top-notch. Having the ability to have the host arrange airport pick up made this great stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!
