La ubicación es buena pero el aseo es especialmente MALO, tienen una señora que no hace nada. El baño, que debería estar impecable, está sucio. Tuve que pedir que lo lavaran bien. Las Paredes del baño sucias. No ponen jabón y champú todos los días, también tuve que pedir. Hay una señor que esta los domingos y es más juiciosa y atenta que la otra. El desayuno apenas normal, lo mismo de siempre todos los días. La habitación llena de zancudos y seguramente polillas porque las cortinas y las paredes tienen los rastros de la sangre que han matado. Muy desagradable.

Útulný B&B, pokoje v přízemí, malé, ale čisté. Snídaně nosila paní každé ráno na pokoj, byly sladké (čaj/káva, pomerančový džus, tousty, máslo, jogurt, marmeláda, croissant, sušenky). Wifi na pokoji fungovalo bez problémů. Z vedlejších pokojů byla některé večery slyšet hlučná TV až do noci. Lokalita příjemná, lze se přiblížit z Termini pohodlně busem nebo pěšky. V okolí supermarkety (Pam, Coop, Doc), mnoho trattorií i skvělá zmrzlinárna Come il Latte. Jedná se o klidnou a tichou lokalitu, ale přitom pěšky dobře dostupnou k památkám (Španělské schody, Fontána di trevi, park a Villa Borghese...).

Good place, good price.

Great service, good location at a good price. Beds are comfy. It is not a high end hotel, but rather a good 0lace to stay a couple of nights. Cleaning needs a bit more attention, and rooms could be updated. Yet, it was nothing concerning. It will be a good stay.

A notre arrivee début d'après midi : personne pour nous accueillir... âpres 3 essais au téléphone : finalement une réponse et quelqu'un est venu qui parlait uniquement italien... Et visiblement nous n'étions pas les seuls à avoir eu ce problème : 2 jours plus tard nous avons dû nous même accueillir un couple qui essayait en vain d'entrer pour avoir accès à leur chambre... Chambre propre mais lit de mauvaise qualite. Petit déjeuner pas très varié (toast et confiture) et servi en chambre mais sans place prévue pour le prendre en couple (juste un bureau avec 1 chaise). Réveil à 7h30 tous les matins par le bruit de vaisselle de la préparation de ce même petit déjeuner.

A very nice and comfortable small B&B. Room was large and clean. Edge of the centre, close to Borghese Gallery and gardens. The receptionist was very efficient and pleasant.

two night stay

Easy check in at the reception, she spoke good English. We stayed for two nights and had two rooms one double and one twin, the beds were comfy and clean we had good wifi connection, it was a good price. Breakfast was good but didn't accommodate vegans. We would stay again. Thanks

Great value and location.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The location and price can not be beat and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable though not very large. Breakfast in the morning was served in the room after being prepared in the front. The hotel can be a bit loud, but not terrible. We will definitely stay there again in Rome. Easy access to restaurants, public transport, and shopping. Just FYI - It is a very small B&B and there is no one on premises at all times. If arriving when there is not a staff member in attendance, you will need to call one of the numbers provided at the gate. Make sure you have a phone with you that is able to call an Italian phone number.

Lovely B&B perfect for single travellers or couples. Clean, comfortable and literally 20 mins walk from Termini and from the Colosseum. Daniela will welcome you with kindness and absolute professionality. I will definitely come back.

Una piccola vacanza di lavoro

Viaggio di lavoro con poco tempo da dedicare alla Capitale ma l'hotel dista pochi passi dai giardini di Villa Borghese che meritano una visita, anche veloce, sul trenino del Parco la sera, un rientro confortevole nella graziosa stanza e al mattino colazione in camera, una coccola prima di ripartire...

Sauberes kleines Hotel für kurzen Stadtbesuch

Das Hotel ist sehr klein, aber gut gelegen, wir haben alles zu Fuß gemacht, jedoch ist der nächste Bus nicht weit. Das Personal war absolut freundlich! Die Zimmer waren absolut sauber. Es gab Pflegeprodukte und Hausschuhe, das hätten wir nicht erwartet. Unsere Aussicht war auf einen kleinen Hof, daher extrem dunkel, aber da wir nur zum Schlafen das Hotel nutzten, war das nicht Weiter schlimm. Das Frühstüxk wurde auf Anfrage ins Zimmer gebracht mit gutem frisch aufgebrühtem Café, einfaches italienisches Frühstück. Das Hotel wirkte sehr sicher, man bekommt Schlüssel, sodass man 24h Ein- und Austreten kann wie man möchte. Auch beim Ausdrucken einer Reservierung wurde uns schnell und freundlich geholfen. Vielen Dank, wir kommen gern wieder.

Piccolo albergo nel cuore di Roma, gestito da una gentilissima signora che era completamente a nostra disposizione. Camere arredate magnificamente, spaziose e dotate di ogni comfort. Unico neo: non in tutte le camere sono presenti le tapparelle, e le tende non sono proprio oscuranti...

Great stay!

We stayed in Domus Pinciana for five nights in July. The room was in an excellent condition and very clean. Breakfast was served in our room each morning, and it was nice and sufficient. Service was also very good, though one of the two landladies didn't speak a word of English. In the afteroon there is usually no one at the reception and the room cleaning is quite early in the morning. If you like to party and wake up late, you will most probably miss out the room cleaning. We didn't see this as a big problem though, but appreciated the privacy and quietness of the place. The only thing we were a little disappointed with was the location; as the closest metro station was ca. 1 - 1,5 km away. On the other hand it's the same walking distance to the stations of both metro lines (A and B), so you don't have to switch lines at the crowded Termini station. There are bus stops nearby, but figuring out the bus schedules in Rome can be tricky! If you don't mind walking (quite a lot) to get to see the sights etc., Domus Pinciana is a very good place to stay.

Ett lugnt och charmigt litet hotell som består av fem rum. Otroligt sköna sängar, fräscht badrum och fint rum. Gratis wi-fi. Frukosten serveras på en bricka i rummet. Trevlig personal som är tillgänglig på förmiddagen. Vi kom fram mitt på dan och det var då obemannat på hotellet, ringde telefonnumret som stod på dörren och blev då insläppta av en trevlig äldre man som gav nycklar och visade oss till rätt rum. 10 minuters promenad till Spanska trappan. Är man dessutom inställd på att promenera mycket går det fint att till fots ta sig till alla de stora sevärdheterna!

Some initial quirks, but a Great place to stay

When we arrived for check in, there was a sheet of paper with a few phone numbers you are to call in order for someone to come check you in. We tried all four numbers that were on this sheet and finally got through to someone who didn't speak too much or understand too much english. He tried to explain that someone would be at our location in 5 minutes to come open the door for us...it took more than 10 minutes! But once we were let into the building, we were told by the guy who let us in to speak with someone on the phone named Peter. Peter spoke English quite well and informed us that he made a mistake on our reservation and said he thought our reservation was for a check in on a different date (the next day). I informed Peter that I had booked this reservation through Expedia a few weeks back and so the mistake was not on my part. Peter was kind enough to acknowledge his mistake and went about looking for alternate accomodations for that night that was close by and asked if we can check in the following day. He would only charge us for 3 nights and pay for the alternate accomodations for that evening. Peter found us a room at a nice upscale hotel for the night, which was only a short block away. After this all my worries went away and I could relax. The next day we got to Domus Pinciana bright and early at 7am and was met by a woman who gave us our keys and asked us to leave our luggage and she would put it in our room. The room was great! Best sleep I had all trip!

Hotel très propre et agréable

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans cet hôtel du 21/03/14 au 23/03/14. C'est un petit bed and Breakfast à 10-15 min à pieds environ de la fontaine de Trévi. Notre chambre était très petite mais très confortable. La chambre et l'hôtel était très propre, et le lit très confortable. Il y avait tout ce qu'il fallait (shampoing, gel douche, chaussons de chambres, wifi, etc). En revanche nous n'avons pas réussi à faire fonctionner la télé malgré notre demande, mais nous étions très peu à l'hôtel donc peu importe. Le petit déjeuner était sympas (rien d'extraordinaire mais agréable). Le personnel ne parlait pas très bien anglais mais on arrivait à se débrouiller et la dame nous a appelé un taxi pour le retour à l'aéroport. Bref je recommande vivement cet hotel pour un petit week end sympas en amoureux! Pas cher, propre, agréable et tout est faisable à pieds. Un CONSEIL: si vous aimez les glaces, allez faire un tour à ROMANA (7min à pied de l'hôtel) les glaces artisanales sont les meilleures !!!!! et la gelateria est ouverte jusque très tard (2h du matin à peu près).

Not worth it

Stayed here because of all the happy customers, but was ultimately let down. The good is that it's a small, nice B&B with a caring owner/hostess. You get breakfast to your room and there is good and free WiFi. The area is quiet and it's not too far from the central parts of Rome. The room was very cold, the radiators didn't work and the combined Aircon/heater didn't work either. The staff didn't want to bother with it and just shrugged the shoulders when I told them about it. Some things in the inventory was old or broken. The toilet seat as an example had a crack in it with sharp edges sticking out. Also, the walls was very thin and you could clearly hear the other guests.

the location of the hotel is fine is you plan to visit the historic part of the city but I have to say that the hotel as little to desire apart from the wonderful staff (Daniela). Apart from the fact that there is no one during the evening and night, so do not expect none in reception, the breakfast facilities are very limited. You get your breakfast in your bedroom but there are no choices of what you would like and it actually need of a dining area for the customers and it is very noisy early morning...
