Sin duda volveremos a Domus Spagna
Hemos pasado 4 días maravillosos en Roma. La ubicación del hotel es fantástica. Todo se puede hacer caminando. La atención y el servicio por parte de Domus spagna ha sido excelente. Nos dieron la posibilidad de contratar la recogida y el regreso al aeropuerto, todo con máxima puntualidad, un servicio muy bueno. Muy amables en todo momento. La habitación es estupenda, hemos descansado de maravilla, con varias almohadas y ropa de cama muy confortable.. Como no estaba el desayuno operativo por las medidas covid, tuvimos la posibilidad de tomar un nespresso cada día en la habitación...fantástico detalle. La ducha estupenda...no sé que más puedo decir, que volvería sin duda a repetir en este hotelito con tanto encanto en el centro de Roma.

Muy bien todo. Excelente diría. Un par de cosas, la regadera despedía mal olor, algunas lámparas no prendían. En general muy bien.

Excelente opción, la ubicación es excepcional, a metros de plaza Spagna. Emma, la hostess muy amable y atenta. Es una alternativa muy buena calidad-precio, teniendo en cuenta los precios en Roma y en esa zona. No es un hotel convencional, te dan llave y tener en cuenta si llegas fuera de horario "normal". El ascensor es muuuuuyyyyy chiquito. Pero, sin lugar a dudas, volveria.

Just keep on mind that this is suits NOT a hotel. We stayed for a couple nights and we don’t regret. They are very well located, Since they are not a hotel, I recommend you to contact them with the details about the time of your arrival. The biggest concern is the elevator: VERY SMAL (350 kg), and the suits are located at the fourth floor!

This is not a hotel room, do not be fooled into thinking that. This is a shared apartment building on the 4th floor. The elevator is very small, WiFi doesn’t work unless you’re in the main room, not your own room. It rained the night of our stay and the bathroom walls ceiling started leaking. Just overall a bad experience, and not at all what it is advertised.

The property is in a great location in Rome. The room was spare and small, especially the bathroom. The bed was a little hard and the pillows even harder. It would have been nice to have had a staff person around to answer questions and offer advice, but after just quickly giving us the keys, the staff person was never seen again.

The location was optimal because it is centrally located in Rome. Unfortunately every morning starting at 7am there are loud noises from the street. This is a guest house so there is no staff or concierge to ask questions to. We were met briefly after we arrived and were given keys and told we had to pay an extra city tax

Dear guests, the tourist tax is required by the municipality of Rome in all accommodation facilities and is not a surprise, because it is specified on the policies you find when booking, it is not an additional cost that we invented. Greetings to the Management

Property is centrally located to shops and nightlife. The location is clean and safe. Bathroom layout was not practical but manageable. I would recommend this location to stay at while visiting Rome.

The photos of the property haven’t been updated in many years online, we had an okay room but it was very small and the shower and bedroom were not very clean. There were hairs in the shower and bedding looked old and in need of a refresh and a pillow was stuck in the ceiling beam from a previous guest (?). For one or two nights it’s okay but after that the space would get very cramped and would likely cost a lot as you had to pay for extra towels etc if you wanted them refreshed daily. The location was amazing and central to everything we wanted to see but contacting the building manager was very difficult. We buzzed the door when we arrived with no answer, after buzzing several times we were lucky that another traveler from the same hotel happened to come by and inform us that when you buzz the manager is alerted and will arrive shortly. This was worrisome as were traveling in from Canada and would have had no other way to contact the building manager a simple “hello I’m on my way” on the other end of the buzz would have been very comforting in that moment. On top of this we had them doing construction on the units around us at 7 am which was alarming as we were not warned about this upon arrival, after arriving on a red eye flight the last thing we wanted was to be awoken by very loud drilling at 7 am. All things considered it was an okay stay for a short trip to Rome but wouldn’t be our top pick for our next trip.

This is a gem of a “hotel” or really a small apartment just a short walk from the Spanish Steps and smack in the middle of the high end shopping and restaurant district! It is on the 4th floor so noise was not an issue for us. Tastefully decorated with nice bathroom and shower. The elevator fit both of us and our small cases. The only problem was other guests not closing the doors as that made it not function till someone went up or down to locate the problem. There is a small shared lounge area outside the room. I would go back without any hesitation.

Great location for our stay in Italy. Once we arrived at the property we called them up and got a quick response with instructions on how to check in. Lovely room, the cleaning staff were very pleasant. In and around the building was quite noisy from early hours but this is not the accommodation’s fault. There was a chocolate bunny waiting in our room for us as we stayed during Easter, thank you! Location is perfect for getting around Rome with plenty nearby. Overall, a great stay!

This was our first tome visiting Europe. When we arrived. We weren’t quite sure if we are at the right place, as we are used to hotels with lobby. The door was open but didn’t know the floor. We walked up some flight of stairs and came down. Hubby finally called the place to let them know we arrived. Once settled we walked around block and everything was convenient. Minutes to Spanish Steps and dined below Negresco Bocca de Leone cafe. Had the pasta soo good, hifhly recommend the spaghetti bith pesto and regular and ravioli.

The suite and staffs were wonderful, the check in was a bit tricky due to lack of instructions. A bit difficult to catch a taxi but everything was walkable. Lovely place, highly recommended everyone to stay, it was spacious and clean. We arrived earlier than the normal check in time but they accommodated us regardless. Wonderful location. Will come back in the future!

I wanted to like this place.
I wanted to like this place, but I cannot excuse this: I was woken up on my second morning by a hotel staff member opening my door and coming into my room around 09:40. She demanded my passport and €28 in city tax. I had planned to sleep in. Zero respect for my privacy and no consideration for whether I was resting. I later checked my phone and saw that the hotel had texted me at 0830 to ask for a picture of my passport; I could have provided this digitally later in the day and didn't have to be woken up. I had two more nights with them so there were many more opportunities to collect the tax from me. The hotel did not provide me with 'do not disturb' signs. It also seems that the default stance of the staff is that they will enter your room and clean it by default, so make sure you safeguard your belongings. Pros: -Location is great -Building has an elevator (though it's tiny) -Rooms are tastefully decorated and decent-sized (for Rome). -They accommodated my very late check-in Cons: -The rooms are a hit dated -Rust on the tower drying racks -The handle that toggles between the showerheads broke on the first day. I reported this immediately but no action was taken

Dear guest, we are sorry about what happened, unfortunately a member of our staff got the room number wrong and was looking for a guest who had to leave that day by 10:00 and had asked us to join him in his room.

We loved the location and the cleanliness! However, to get to it you must use a tiny and I mean tiny elevator. They are on the fourth floor. It is “normal” for this type of beautiful boutique hotel in Rome.

We liked this property a lot. Our suite was exactly as the pictures show. We had three different keys to get into our room so we felt safe. The cleaning lady that we met throughout was very nice. The property is located in the shopping district & there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The place downstairs was our go to for breakfast. Very good!! The TV didn't work so well, we never got a picture. Oh well, we just watched TV on my Ipad. There were times where it was really loud outside, alarms & such going off...not the hotels fault, but if you are a light sleeper it will wake you up. We heard opera being sung down the street from us & a person playing violin another evening. VERY COOL!! The staff was accommodating with letting us keep our luggage there while our room was being set up; we arrived before our reservation time. The elevator is TINY! And if the person before you doesn't close the doors you have to go hunt it down or take the stairs. You will definitely want to use it to take your luggage up & down because it's on the 4th floor. We really enjoyed this place for our first trip to Italy. And they have the best smelling lobby ever!! And a big bowl of candy!!

Everything about this guesthouse was perfect. Large firm bed, ideal location (Spanish steps, shopping, Trevor fountain, metro), friendly staff, incredible water pressure and no issues with warm water. The only negative for us is that there were no blackout curtains in room 404. The sun woke us up everyday at 6am and it was really hard to get back to sleep. Also, the balcony is only big enough to walk onto no room for seating. Other than that loved our stay and would recommend.
