Get the local feel in a nice and safe neighborhood in the heart of Rome!

  • CasaLilli is a place where you can feel the security and warmth of home. We are an English-speaking family, making it easy to communicate your wants and needs.

    It has a modern and very spacious living/dining room with a sofa bed that can comfortably sleep two, satellite TV, DVD player, and a stereo CD player. There are two tastefully appointed bathrooms, one with a bathtub, and the other with a shower and a hair dryer. The master bedroom, furnished with antique furniture, has a decidedly romantic feel. The other bedroom, with twin beds and a study, is comfortable and contemporary. Both bedrooms are air-conditioned.

    The kitchen is completely equipped with a mini oven, a four burner gas range with oven, fridge, Nespresso coffee maker, blender, toaster, plus all the necessary cooking utensils. It leads to a terrace where you can enjoy your meals al fresco. A washing machine and flat iron complete the list of amenities.

    CasaLilli is within walking distance from the sites of Ancient Rome - the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, Trajan Market, and Circus Maximus. Just around the corner, and not to be missed, is the Basilica of San Clemente, a structure of three churches built one on top of the other during three different eras, thus condensing 2000 years of Christian history. The Domus Aurea, better known as the Golden House of Nero, is just a couple of blocks away. It was from here that the famous Emperor watched while Rome burned.

    The Villa Celimontana, the venue for the annual summer Jazz and Image Festival, is just a 3-minute walk from CasaLilli. This is a beautiful park where you can go jogging, have picnics, or simply enjoy an afternoon stroll.

Such a great stay at this property. Very close to the Colosseum and many tours started from around the area. Grocery stores and many restaurants nearby. The property is very adorable. It was nice to have a washing machine with the extreme Roma heat.

We had a wonderful stay. Very roomy and had everything we needed. Loved the patio. The host arranged transfers and a golf cart tour. She was very helpful.

We loved staying here. The apartment was nicely prepared and we felt like we were enjoying a home in a typical neighbourhood. The apartment wasn’t overdone but comfortable. We enjoyed the patio and regularly started our day sitting with coffee outside.

Our stay here was wonderful! Our host was fantastic and communication was great. The area was perfect and we were only a couple minutes walk from restaurants and the Colosseum. Our host also assisted us with a private driver and a private tour guide. We just told her the highlights of what we wanted to see on our trip and she provided us with several options. We had an stress-free vacation thanks to all her planning for us. Highly recommend this place!

Great apartment very close to the Colosseum. The photos are accurate as is the description of the neighborhood. Marmi is delightful to work with—she was super responsive. And had good recommendations for things in the neighborhood. If you’re looking to be near this part of Rome, I’d highly recommend it!

Family of 5, stayed here comfortably. Excellent location, safe and close to Colosseum and other major sites. Marmi, was incredibly easy to work with, even handled transfers to/from FCO. Easy walk to Roma Terminali if you want to head out to other sites.

The listing was 100% accurate: we experienced the local feel of Rome—removed from the tourist hub-bub. Things to note: delicious gelato at the end of the block, and a delightful bakery made for fun evenings and great early mornings. Marmi was responsive and helpful with recommendations. We enjoyed our stay!

Had a wonderful stay at Casa Lilli. The host was very welcoming and the location is great for using public transportation or grabbing a taxi. The area is very safe and quiet compared to other parts of the city center and it is just a stones throw away from the Colosseum. I would definitely stay at this residence again.

What a lovely place and amazing host! Location very close to the colosseum, making it easy to sites in that area. Many excellent restaurants within walking distance. Host was so helpful in organizing tours, sharing recommendations for restaurants, and also with transportation. She was communicative from time of booking until departure date. The multiple bathrooms was very convenient for our family. Would absolutely stay again if we had the chance both for the excellent hosting as well as accomodations.

The apartment was lovely and very clean, which i appreciated. Great space for us to visit as a family while on vacation. It is in a great location to restaurants and transportation options. We walked to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and Mary Major Basillica. Would definitely stay here again. Marmi, the host, was very helpful throughout our stay.

Wonderful location, just a few blocks away from the Colosseum and Roman Forum. There were lots of great restaurants and a grocery store within a few-minutes walk of the flat. Our host, Marmi, was wonderful. She quickly responded to all of our questions and needs; she even arranged two great days with a private tour guide on short notice. We would definitely stay here again.

Great apartment 2 blocks from the Colloseum! Host met my sister for check in which was a breeze, she even offered a quick tour of the area with a gelato stop! Close to numerous restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. Clean spacious apartment. Comfy beds. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place great location

Family of four , wonderful host, great location by colosseum, quiet at night, has a clothes washing machine (not a dryer fyi) everything you need for a short or long stay. Comfortable beds, two baths/toilets, would surely stay here again.
