El apartamento turístico consta de una sala de estar con una cocina bien equipada con vistas al exclusivo jardín, dos dormitorios con dos baños completos, un jardín elegante y silencioso y una terraza equipada con mesa, sillas y sombrilla. Se encuentra en Gianicolo, entre Villa Pamphyli, el Parque Gianicolo y Villa Sciarra, puede llegar a Trastevere y el Vaticano a pie y Piazza Venezia con un solo autobús en 10 minutos.

Muy lejos del centro

Comentar que se nos cambió el apartamento alquilado (por tanto no puedo valorar el que está aquí) por otro en el mismo edificio sin previo aviso. No obstante, de forma general lo peor de este alojamiento en su distancia al centro y lo poco efectivo que es el transporte público en Italia.

Sehr nette Vermieterin und für uns sehr passende Wohnung. Die Lage der Wohnung ist sehr gut, aber man sollte sich auf keinen Fall auf den Bus verlassen. Das liegt aber nicht an der Wohnung, sondern ist ein generelles Problem in Rom, vor allem zu den Hauptverkehrszeiten.

Wir haben Milenas Wohlfühloase dieses Jahr zum zweiten Mal für 11 Tage gebucht und es war wieder für das quirlige Rom die richtige Wahl. Die Wohnung ist ein wunderbarer Rückzugsort und die Lage ist perfekt, um dem Trubel auch mal zu entkommen. Milena ist sehr entgegenkommend und steht einem per WhatsApp bei Problemen sofort mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Vielen Dank für alles und Arrivederci!

Milena was fantastic! She took us on an evening tour of Rome to give us a feel of city on the evening of our arrival. She also helped us make reservation at local restaurant for 1st afternoon meal. Basically she went above and beyond to help us become familiar with surrounding neighborhood and availability of transportation if walking was challenging for our group of 4. The apartment was perfect for two couples and outside terrance was enchanting in the evenings. Beautiful lemon tree full of fruit just lovely! Location is excellent to enjoy Rome and then depart to a quieter neighborhood environment during evenings. Bus stop right outside driveway that goes to Rome Central.Very convenient! Highly recommend this location if planning to visit Rome! Thank You Milena! Your the Best!

Amazing location if you want a nice quiet place away from crowds. Check in was simple and Milena gave us a tour in her car when we arrived. It was so fun to drive around with her to get our first glimpses of Rome and see a few amazing spots close by. The 75 and the 44 buses take you to the most important places. Taxis are also affordable. The apartment has everything you need. There were delicious treats when we arrived, which was great after a long day of travelling. Lots of space for our teenage daughters and us. The patio was such a nice peaceful outdoor space to relax. Milena arranged our taxi to the airport. Would love to stay here again. Milena was amazing!

Wonderful Neighbor and Host!

We loved staying in Gianicolo Hill and Milena was wonderful. The apartment and neighbor gave a great place to rest after a crowded busy day in Rome. Milena showed us where to find groceries, good food, bus tickets, and how to navigate the routes. The apartment was perfect with great AC after the 90 degree days. I would stay again and recommend to friends and family.

Lovely visit to Rome

We really enjoyed our stay at Milena’s apartment in Monteverde. The place is well situated in a lovely neighborhood near restaurants, supermarkets and banks. There is a bus that passes frequently in front of her apartment. We often took the bus to arrive to the sights in central Rome. It would take 30-40 minutes by bus, depending on traffic, and location of the site. There is a taxi stand very close to the apartment which was super convenient. We found it too hot to walk 45 minutes to many of the sites so we relied mostly on the buses and taxi.Milena was so helpful when we arrived and took us on a brief tour of the area, pointing out markets, banks, which buses to take etc. She made herself very available to us throughout our stay.Of note, the apartment is in the basement. There is a nice patio out in back, attached to the apartment. There is an elevator for those not wanting to carry luggage, groceries up and down stairs.We loved our home away from home. Thank you Milena for your hospitality!

Was clean but needs updates and a clearer understanding of the distance to all the main attractions, such as Vatican City is a good 40-45 minutes away though traffic,bus or train by walking. Also the apartment is basically underground or in the basement so be aware of that as well. Host was kind and wanted to be helpful with directions or activities. Best part was the outside terrace or patio which was our initial attraction to the property.

Would happily stay here again

Sparkling clean, comfortable home, wonderful hosts, nice to be in a quiet non-touristy area to feel like you are living with the locals. The apartment is an easy 45 minute walk to Vatican City, however, the bus system can get you anywhere quickly. Bus 75 stops right in front of the apartment and also stops right in front of the Colosseum. Maurizio gave us a lovely tour of the area including a very helpful panoramic view of Rome city center where he pointed out different historic monuments and gave some historical perspective. The only con we can think of is that the mattress in the master bedroom was a bit too hard. Not so hard that we couldn't sleep but we would have preferred a little more give in the mattress. The second room's single beds were foam (we think) and were more comfortable. Milena kindly gave us a ride to the train station at the end of our stay. She and Maurizio were delightful!

First Visit to Rome!

My family and I enjoyed our stay! The host was friendly, kind and easy to work with. It was nice to be out of the hustle and bustle of the city, quiet neighborhood and if the weather had been better we would have enjoyed the patio! The place is as advertised. One note about location: the walk to the Vatican is about a 40 minute walk, a little farther than we understood, but was worth the walk. In regards to the unit: it has a washing machine, but no dryer. There is a stove top, but no oven. Thank you Milena!

Great Stay in Trastevere across the Tiber River

We had the best stay here in Trastevere Across the river from Rome. The Host Milena and her husband were Great. Giving us a ride on our first day, showing us the local sites and places to Grocery Shop and Dine. The Condo was very clean and very safe. With a beautiful private terrace.The Condo is in a fantastic location with Bus stops and Taxi Stands within a 2-block area. Take the #75 bus and it will take you to the Colosseum and the Termini Train Station. It Stops right out in front of the Condo. We really didn't want to Leave!!

Rome at Your Doorstep: A Gem with Fantastic Hosts!

We had an incredible stay at this charming rental in Rome! The apartment was spotless and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. What truly made our experience exceptional were the hosts. Milena was wonderfully helpful, even calling a cab for us since we don’t speak Italian. Maurizio went above and beyond by taking us on a whirlwind tour of the area, sharing fascinating stories and insights about the city he clearly loves.The absolute best part? The bus stop is right out the front door, making all of Rome easily accessible. We couldn’t have asked for a better location. This place is truly a hidden gem, and we can’t wait to return! Highly recommend!

Lovely quiet spot

We had an incredible stay at this VRBO in Rome! The location was perfect - we were able to walk to many of the city's top attractions, including the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and Piazza Navona. The hosts were so welcoming and accommodating, providing us with helpful tips and recommendations for our visit. The apartment itself was cozy and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a cute terrace overlooking the city. Ruhige FeWo in schönem Viertel in Rom

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub. Die FeWo liegt ruhig, ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Die Betten sind bequem. Der Innenhof lädt zum Verweilen an, aber hier Mückenspray nicht vergessen. Trastevere ist ein wunderbares Viertel mit italienischen Leben, nicht so viele Touristen. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert.

Magique

Milena a pris le temps de faire une tournée du quartier avec nous à notre arrivée, elle a organisé nos transports et était attentive à nos besoins, c’est une hôte de choix. L’appartement nous a permis de vivre la vie de quartier à la romaine,tout en bénéficiant de la proximité de Trastevere à distance de marche. La localisation de l’appartement était parfaite
