The hotel was absolutely incredible, the breakfast included was delicious and varied, all the service was wonderful, kind and friendly, and it is perfectly located within the heart of downtown Rome, everything is within walking distance and made for a perfect stay. I also wanna shoutout Leonardo from customer service and in reception, his energy, smile and impecable service made my stay all the more wonderful!

Está muy bien ubicada, muy cerca de Trastevere a sólo 8 min caminando. El exterior del hotel conserva la arquitectura de Roma pero sus habitaciones están remodeladas y muy modernas, además que ofrece desayuno incluido en el costo de la habitación.

The room was not what I booked on line. It was very basic and very small. The staff were unhelpful and didn’t make an effort as I dragged 3 heavy suitcases off the pavement into hotel and then up to room. What’s happened to helpful staff?

Estuvimos alojados 4noches en el hotel, pisamos poco el hotel porque estuvimos todos los dias visitando la ciudad. La habitacion era muy pequeñita con el cuarto de baño igual de pequeñito, todo estaba muy limpio y ordenado. Si estais buscando un hotel para nada mas que dormir, este seria una buena opcion porque esta muy centrico y puedes llegar a todos lados andando. El desayuno del hotel era poco variado pero estaba todo muy rico, el cafe era maravilloso. Nosotros tuvimos una estancia bastante buena.

Nuestra cuarto estaba en un anexo del edificio del Lobby del hotel y nuestro cuarto era muy pequeño y se veía viejo. La regadera era diminuta. No muy cómodo. El lobby y el desayuno muy buenos!

Energetic neighborhood - yet the rooftop patio (bar and small plates restaurant) takes you away from the bustle and noise. Rooms are European small but who’s spending time there when there is so much to see in Roma??

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Smeraldo. It is in a quiet part of Rome but still central to all sights. Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona and the Spanish Steps are all within 10 minute walk from the hotel. Air conditioning worked well but did not go below 22 degrees Celsius. Leonardo at the front desk was gracious and helpful during our stay. He provided us with a fan for our room. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Will definitely stay here again!

The staff at this hotel were exceptional. I felt very valued as a customer. My only dislike of this hotel was the room size. It was incredibly small. The room was basically just big enough for the bed and there was very little room around the bed to manage luggage or even dress. The bathroom was also very small. I am 6 foot tall and husky and almost did not fit into the shower. I would definitely recommend this hotel for the dedication to customer service, however if you do not want to stay in a box, i would unfortunately recommend staying elsewhere.

We were disappointed with the view in our superior with balcony and the room was small, however it was clean and functional. Really from this area there is no good view. Nice bathroom and shower. After staying in this room the length of our reservation, we switched rooms to a standard room for a tour we are joining and didn’t think the rooms could get much smaller but they can! No place to put two carryon size suitcases. Shower not as nice. Window opens to a wall. Good location for accessing sites. I’d get the superior if I was booking again

We stayed at the Hotel Smeraldo for one night after our cruise and wish we had more time to spend at this hotel! We arrived around 9:30am and our room was ready for us the check in! While checking in the front desk gave us a fantastic overview of the area and a great one day itinerary of sights to see! All within walking distance of the hotel. This hotel is in a fantastic location. After a great day of exploring Rome, we slept very comfortably in our hotel room and woke up and enjoyed the delicious breakfast offered by the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel!

This property was perfect for our 2 night stay in Rome. It is centrally located to all of the tourist sites and we were able to walk everywhere. The beds were comfortable, and they offer a wonderful breakfast in the morning.

We had a great experience Hotel Smeraldo during our stay in April 2024. We were 2 people and stayed 2 nights. Location is perfect. Walkable to many Rome sights and good restaurants nearby. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast had good a variety of tasty options. Bakery with pizza and panini just across the street. Very close to a main bus stop. Room was small but tidy and clean. Would stay here again and recommend to others!
