Hospedaje en Roma como en casa
Solo tiñe 5 habitaciones en muy buenas condiciones, arregladas, limpias Ambiente hogareño pero en especial la atención personalizada de Urszula fue inmejorable de 💯. Fue una experiencia diferente de cualquier hotel. Hay un área de servicio y te llevas tu desayuno al cuarto. Te sientes como en casa. Me encantó!

La atención recibida por Úrsula y Renato ha sido de 10. Amables, encantadores, detallistas. En todo momento pendientes de que no nos faltara de nada. La habitación muy espaciosa, cómoda, bonita. Las vistas desde las ventanas de la habitación increíbles. El desayuno buenísimo. Podías elegir entre una gran variedad, fruta, pastas, cereales, embutidos, zumos, café, capuchino y muchas más cosas. Te llevabas el desayuno a la habitación y era una gozada desayunar tranquilamente. Agradezco muchísimo todas las atenciones recibidas. Espero volver muy pronto, sin dudarlo volveré a elegir este hotel. Grazie mile♥️🌹

A beautiful premise in the best possible location
This residence is all about the location! The room was beautifully decorated with antique and even the roof is beautiful. It's easy to access, as buses and trams pass by the Torre Argentina area, but it means that the buses, trams, ambulances, cars etc are really passing by the place (remember to bring the earplugs, if you're a light sleeper). We got what we expected: the view to the historic venue and countless cats. And Urszula is the best hostess there is! She gives here everything to make you feel like being at home.

The perfect place to stay in Rome

Stayed three nights. Very clean. Ursula was so nice even with my unforeseen late arrival. In a nice location, within a 10-20 minute walk of major sights.

Exceptional - did not want to leave
I will be back to stay with Ursula and her son. They made every effort to make sure our stay was comfortable and happy. They are the loveliest, most helpful, gorgeous people. We had a lovely big room with many beautiful touches. The breakfast was delicious and varied. We welcomed the aircon as it was 38 outside. The residence was spotlessly clean, the water was potable and there were snacks and drinks in the fridge. Ursula helped us with the baggage lost by the airline/airports, with transport, and with reassurance and support. Our 3-night stay was part of a longer 32-day trip and it was an absolute highlight - an oasis of calm, comfort, and care. Thank you so much to everyone at Residenza Gens Julia!

Very nice property and excellent service
We only stayed here for 1 night to catch our flight the next day. Easy short ride from Roma Termini (we could have walked but it was very hot at 2pm). Our host Ursula’s son welcomed us at the door. Very friendly and gave us a short overview of the general area, how to use the coffee machine (they have Lavazza!) Breakfast was great, many many options. Our room was huge with 2 full bathrooms, very clean, beds/pillows were super comfy and AC was great (2 zones), shower was excellent. Right next door is a highly rated pizza place (many variety at reasonable prices), a restaurant where they make fresh pasta daily. 2 convenience stores within the same block. Even though it’s a busy neighborhood, we did not hear any noise in our room, we slept really well. Location was perfect, almost all major tourist spots are within walking distance. Met Ursula when checking out, lovely person, very caring, and gave us detailed directions on where to get a taxi for the airport. This is a good base if you want to spend a few days in Rome. I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I used this as our home base in Rome. We had an excellent experience. Ursula and her son were fantastic hosts and were very attentive. Ursula made us feel like family. The location was perfect and made the city very walkable. Don’t sleep on the pizza right next door downstairs and the homemade pasta restaurant a few doors down. We would not hesitate to return and stay at the residence again when we come back to Rome!

Wonderful stay!
Our stay at the Residenza Gens Julia was wonderful! It is located just perfectly and close to all of the major sights. Urszula, the host, was just amazing - very friendly and super helpful. She also provided a very nice breakfast in the morning - fresh bread and pastries from a bakery nearby, fresh fruits, cheeses, cold cuts, etc. Everything was fresh and high quality. Our room (triple room) was big, clean and comfortable and even had two bathrooms, which is very rare in EU. I honestly won't stay anywhere else in Rome!

The property is in a perfect location for sight seeing. It's within walking distance to almost everything in central Rome. The hotel itself is lovely, the rooms are spacious and quaint, the breakfast in the morning is perfect. I cannot say enough about the owner, Urszula, she's a wonderful, helpful and friendly person. 10 out of 10. I will stay here again and will recommended it to everyone staying in Rome.

Ursula, som driver hotellet, er en person som gjør alt godt hun kan for gjestene sine. Rommet var fint, helt og rent. Renhold hver dag. Hotellet ligger meget godt plassert i forhold til severdigheter i Roma.

This hotel/B&B was absolutely perfect. The owner of the property (Urszula) went above and beyond by organizing all transportation for everything we did on our 12 day vacation (Airport, Hotel, Cruise port, etc...), even through we only stayed at the property for two nights! This included organizing transportation for other family members that were not with us at the hotel. Urszula made our trip perfect!

Warm Hosts Make Residenza Gens Julia a Top Pick
The building is older but location is excellent across from the Torre Argentina and within a kilometer of the Pantheon. The best feature was owners Ursula and Renato-- definitely the friendliest and warmest hosts among any we encountered on our multi-city two country tour of Italy and Greece. They made us feel instantly at home and welcomed us to take advantage of a fantastic breakfast, refrigerated drinks and coffee (available 24 hours) plus great restaurant recommendations. The three of us had a split room with two bathrooms allowing a great deal of privacy and spaciousness. It's not a five-star modern luxury building but we loved the classic character and the service we received. Highly recommended!

We got this place for its location, and we were not disappointed! Ursula, the woman that took care of us was amazingly nice and super helpful in surprising my wife for our anniversary. She took care of restaurant bookings, car pickups. Just awesome customer service. The room was massive, w/ 2 full bathrooms, quite large for Europe. Great deal! Highly recommended!!

Excellent B&B with five-star management !
We liked everything about our stay - warm welcome, great location, spacious and very clean room, good breakfast. We ordered a transfer from and to the airport, the driver Alexandro always arrived in advance and gave us a smooth ride. We prepared for our journey, but the recommendations of restaurants that we received in advance from Ursula, and a short orientation during check-in from Renato were very useful for discovering and enjoying the city. Ursula and Renato are warm and kind people who allowed us to feel more like family members than just guests.

We had a lovely stay at Ursula’s and Renato’s ! The place is very comfortable and well located, but the most amazing part is the welcome : our hosts have been so kind and helpful, preparing nice breakfasts and little presents and did everything so that we had 3 wonderful days in Roma ! Excellent Stay in Great location
We absolutely loved Residenza Gens Julia. We stayed in the family room room that had 2 bedrooms, each with their own sitting area and bathroom and a shared hallway space. Our rooms had the most magnificent view of the ruins where Julius Caesar was associated, which was such a nice surprise. The hosts were the most friendly, helpful and gracious hosts I've encountered. We arrived in the morning and they had our rooms ready for us, offered us a wonderful breakfast and spent time making recommendations of where to go and eat in the area. They even made our last night special with a surprise treat of Prosecco chilled in a wine bucket with snacks and a dessert treat. The room itself was spacious and well appointed. There was a sitting area and lots of space to spread out and relax. We had everything we needed and more. We loved how close Residenza Gens Julia was to everything. It was a 10 minute walk to the Pantheon, 15 minutes to Trevi Fountain and 15 minutes to the Colosseum. The best restaurant of our trip was next door (Pasta e Vino Osteria). We were told the takeaway pizzo shop right outside the entrance was very good by several people but we never gave it a try.

Best place to stay in Rome!
Our home away from home! Immaculately clean, roomy and well located--a short walk to all the sights. We recommend them highly. The next time we are in Rome we are definitely staying here again. Our hosts were warm, welcoming, informative and above all, accommodating. We came as guest and left as friends.

Great stay!
Great location! Very clean. Ursula did everything she possibly could to make our stay fantastic! Breakfast was great. Room was very nice! Much bigger than most in Italy! Only downfall was that the A/C couldn't keep up with the Roman summer. In their defense it was 90-100 degrees while we were there. Otherwise couldn't ask for anything more!

We absolutely loved this hotel. We stayed in a triple room and it was perfect for my daughter (8 years old), sister in law, and me. The room overlooked Largo Torre Argentina, which was fun in the evenings. Renato and Ursula were absolutely delightful, and so sweet when my daughter had a stomach ache - they brought her medicine to help her feel better before flying home. We're so excited to stay again next year on an upcoming trip!

Não conseguimos ser atendidos, chegamos atrasados ao Checkin e sequer atenderam a porta ou o telefone. Ficamos em Roma sem teto ou socorro.Um senhor da loja de baixo tentou ajudar mas depois de muito tempo desistiu também. Rua escura, sem lugar para parar com as malas e sem estacionamento no local. Decepcionante!

We have tried to contact You trough the message system and we have tried many times to call You by phone before check in and we didn't get any answer. We suggest to everyone to read the information about the Hotels, Apartment and so on before book them in order to find the best solution for Your needs.

Ursula and Renato are awesome!!!! They made sure everything was perfect. They had great advice on where to eat, what to see, etc. Every morning we were treated by their infectious smiles and kind words! They made our stay better, as we were treated like family rather than customers. I am visiting Rome again in May with my daughter, and we will be staying here with Ursula and Renato! I would not stay anywhere else!
