Séjour à Rome

L'emplacement de l'appartement est parfait. Toutefois, les systèmes d'air climatisée nécessite un grand nettoyage, le ventilateur au-dessus de la cuisinière ne fonctionnait pas, le tiroir du haut du lave-vaisselle nous est resté dans les mains mais le pire, les bestioles qui courent sur le comptoir de la cuisine et dans les tiroirs, pas super. Après en avoir discuté avec le proprio et demandé un petit rabais de 5 ou 10% pour le désagrément, il nous a carrément écrit des bêtises sur WhatsAPP et les a tout de suite supprimé pour que je ne puisse pas prendre une capture d'écran. Il a même eu le culot de me dire qu'il pouvait lui-même corriger les avis sur VRBO. Alors, en conclusion, c'est malheureux, car la situation Géographique est parfaite. Un proprio qui ne veut que faire du "CASH".

Inititially everything seemd awesome. Immediately upon booking I received a detailed message from the host outling everything, and offering a shuttle service from the airport, as well as a whatapp contact number.I had a scheduling error and was looking to contact the host about 2 weeks out from our trip. And he completely ghosted us, despite numerous messages over several days via the vrbo website and whatsapp, nothing, radio silence. I had to reach out to vrbo to try and elicit a response, still nothing.Then miraculously, when check in time was approaching, 2 days before, I get another detailed message, but still no response to my previous questions and emails. By this time, I had found alternate accomodations and just ignored him due to his lack of communication. But now he started pestering me with messages demanding I specify a check in time.He had the gall to state I failed to communicate with him. In retrospect, pretty sure that all his messages were done via artifical intelligence of chatgpt.zero stars, horrible host with zero communication skills

We visited Rome with our two elementary age kids and this place was perfect for our needs. The AC was cold and there was no road noise, despite the central location. It was a short walk to the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and Trevi Fountain. Bus stops across the street made for easy transport to Termini and the Vatican. The living area and bedrooms were the perfect amount of space for our family. One shower was better than the other, but overall great charm. The elevator is a tight fit, so we mostly took the stairs but a reasonable trade off for the awesome rooftop view. Very responsive host.

Great location

Location was great very close to Panthoen. Place was very clean and nice. Martin was great to deal with we also used his shuttle service from the air port which was great.

Fantastic!!

The location was really great. Easy access everywhere. Our check-in process was easy and clear, and allowed for an early check-in as well. Also helping with transportation from the airport was a bonus.

Acceptable until we were moved

We could overlook the broken toilet seat and the shower that had a broken bracket (meaning it could only be hand held) and the shower had very poor pressure. Until……we found out the property had been overbooked and as a group of 3 we thought we’d give way to the group of 5 coming in as we had only one night left. To Martin’s credit he moved us at no charge and comped our airport transfer, however the property we moved to in the Termini district was even worse. The bathroom, kitchen and second bedroom received no relief from the air conditioner (it was 38-40 whilst we were in Rome), there was a smell of rubbish in the apartment and the district was awful, not where I would choose to stay at all. Add to this the lift was broken (I acknowledge out of the control of the property manager) which did not help my 72 year old mother. Martins liberal use of photoshop and the fisheye lense make his properties appear much better than they are. Book his properties with this in mind Andre, Martins assistant, was amazing. His communication and the fact he moved our luggage was much appreciated. Andre is the only reason we have not given a lower rating

No hot water

The apartment was ok. The biggest issue was that there was no water pressure or hot water - literally no hot water. When we reached out to the host we went completely MIA!

Nous ( 2 personnes)avons adoré cet appartement. Il est très bien situé dans le centre historique. Tratoria ,café, et alimentari à proximité. L’appartement était très propre et confortable. Les chambres sont à l’arrière, donc loin du bruit de la rue.

Perfect spot in Rome

Just a few steps from the Pantheon made this hidden gem a perfect place to start our day and we loved visiting the little Trattoria Il Lucana at the end of our adventures. Lots of great restaurants near by and we were very comfortable with two bedrooms and two bathrooms giving us some privacy when travelling with friends. Easy check in and check out. Definitely recommend. Thanks Martin!

Nice stay and good location

Good location. Small bedrooms and one shower was very tiny. Washer but no dryer and dryer rack was broken. Good Wi-Fi which was nice. Living area was large. No extra pillow cases for the extra pillows. You get one bath towel so assume you need to wash your towel if you want a clean one. No kitchen towels.

Great and spacious place

We ended up here after a very long trip that started in Israel and took us through Spain, France and Italy. We probably arrived during the hottest time of the year (no joke, 120 degrees Fahrenheit). The apartment was great - very large and welcoming (nice living space, netflix, good kitchen). The host was amenable to letting us check in early and the apartment was clean, the beds were comfy and communication was easy (mostly done via What's App so just make sure you are comfortable with that). There is a small grocery store right around the corner which was great. The location can't be beat and importantly, the air-conditioner was to American standards which was beyond welcome given the heat was literally unbearable to the point where it made the whole trip (with kids) pretty difficult. My husband who is really picky about where we stay quickly said the place was great and he is one of the most critical lodging people I ever met. Only real watch out: The elevator is very, very small (room for a suitcase and one person barely). This did not bother me, I didn't care, we took shifts and my kids just ran up the stairs) but just something to be aware of. The walk up is pretty strenuous if you are older but there is an elevator -- it just might pose challenges if someone has mobility issues and they have walking assistance tools beyond a cane (wheelchair, walker, etc.). Only other suggestion is better lighting (more standing lamps, etc.) Would highly recommend!

Perfect location!

The apartment was in the perfect location, it the furnishings were basic, but it was quite clean. The host did a fine job, he provided us with transport to airport and restaurant suggestions. My only complaint is that the cleaning crew showed up 30 minutes before we were supposed to check out. They were aware that our transport wasn't scheduled for 30 more minutes, but they came anyway. Some of us were still in our pajamas and were still packing and organizing when they came in to clean. Luckily, they were able to start cleaning the back bedroom and allowed us to get everything done up front.

Perfect for us

Mr. Frias and his assistant, Mr. Andre, were extremely helpful. Mr. Frias organized 2 airport transfers for us, allowed us to get into the apartment early and gave several restaurant recommendations. Our check-in was very easy. The apartment is large and roomy with extra pillows. We were in Rome for a couple of the hottest days of the summer, and the air conditioning worked extremely well and was very much appreciated! The kitchen had pots and pans if you wanted to cook - even had a microwave! The TVs worked and there was even Netflix on them! One shower was small. Our stay was fantastic!

Layover in Rome

This property was a nice place to stay for a one night layover. The places was very spacious. Great A/C...maybe i did not know how the work the A/C remove, but it was really cold in the bedrooms and the blankets were as thin as the bed sheets. We could have used thicker blankets.

Perfect Location

Loved this place. They even arranged pick up from airport. Great view from living room and really nice accommodation. We would Definitely stay there again. One shower is a little small, but the other was great.
