The place was perfect and just as listed. The host was very easy to get in touch with and was very helpful with his guides and how to things. He had us drivers on a whim and was very friendly and helpful with our stay there.

We had a great stay at this apartment. It was very clean and had great amenities. The location is wonderful. The host is great with communications and we had no issues at all. Since it is an old building, the elevator is very small, but it worked fine and we had no problems. We would definitely stay there again.

Paolo was a wonderful host. He arranged pick up for our group to and from and was always available to answer questions or concerns. The apartment was clean and very accessible to walk to major tourist sites annd shopping. Also, the metro was very close to walk to and easy to use.

The rental is just a few blocks from the colosseum. There is a supermarket steps away along with a coffee place. Great place to get food items and wine. The rental looks tired and not updated compared to the photos on-line. Old and outdated furniture with only a few extra amenities. The pullout sofa was not comfortable. Lots of steps tot he 6th floor and the elevator only holds 2-3 ppl with no luggage.

This apartment boasts an excellent location, being within walking distance of the Coliseum and conveniently close to both a bus stop and the subway. There are also many great restaurants within walking distance, offering a wide range of dining options. The apartment itself was very spacious, comfortably accommodating five adults, with large beds available in each room, ensuring a restful stay. The host was very helpful and greeted us warmly upon arrival, providing numerous excellent recommendations on where to eat in the area. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

We had an amazing stay at this flat—truly the perfect home base for exploring Rome. The location couldn't have been better: just a short walk to the Colosseum and many other iconic sites, plus surrounded by fantastic restaurants and charming cafes. The apartment itself was spotless, very comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.What made this trip especially memorable was our host, Paolo - absolutely the best we've ever had! Incredibly helpful, responsive, and genuinely kind, he went above and beyond to make sure our experience was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish.We highly recommend this place and would absolutely stay here again!

Paolo was a lovely man and very responsive host. I think that where the accommodation fell short was in our expectations. The photos are no longer accurate as much of the furniture is in poor condition. The faux leather bed frames are cracked and worn. The smaller couch in the living room should be totally replaced. There is a strange odour in the ensuite bathroom, and the bottom drawer in the vanity no longer slides into place. Plates and bowls should be updated.I would heartily recommend Paolo as a host. He arranged our rides to and from the airport, and was helpful in so many big and small ways. Just a wonderful man.

Very nice stay in Rome

The apartment is very close to Colosseum and nearby to restaurants and coffee shops. Paulo is an excellent host and the apartment had all the adequate amenities. The apartment is dated and as with the rest of the ones in the historic district. The elevator is small and can get fit in 2 or 3 people max. If you have bags, be prepared for multiple trips. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are small but adequate. The hot water takes a few mins to arrive, but it eventually does. Overall we enjoyed out stay and Paulo's hospitality. If you are traveling from outside EU, you will need some international adapters for charging your devices. Would be nice if the home had a few.

Just the right distance for us

A return trip to Rome with family (including teens) for 1 week in this location was just right. We were able to find transportation to and from all the major sites; either by wheel, rail, or foot. The layout gives enough space for 3 couples, or in our case, 2 teens plus parents. The kitchen is well equipped and suited our needs. Both washer and dryer worked well. Be prepared for a little learning on these- the dryer is a ductless, in the kitchen; the washer is on the balcony. It sounds like it wouldn’t make sense, but it works and wasn’t a difficult thing to work with. If you’ve never worked with these before, do a little googling before jumping in. We learned the hard way. Food and staples are easy to get from the grocer that is at the corner. Reasonable prices and selection. Check in and out was super simple. Paolo was able to set us up with a very reasonable transport for our early morning FCO flight- you won’t find anything better, just take the offer. Only cons I would say are: the bedroom on the back left (white walls) can get a little noisy at night. Not terrible, but noticeably noisier than the courtyard side rooms (yellow and purple). The bathrooms had a slight odor to them in the morning - after some ventilation fans, it was manageable. These are things that are part of the building, and out of the control of the apartment holder- so we worked with it :) I would recommend, this was a far better experience than the last three trips we had to Rome

Perfect location

The apartment was just as advertised, clean and comfortable. Paolo was wonderful! He arranged our driver from the train station on arrival and to the airport when we checked out. The location was perfect and right down from the Colosseum with stores, a market and plenty of good restaurants nearby. We totally enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful home

Paolo was so helpful with suggestions on restaurants, tours, maps and the best gelato in Rome. The apartment was beautifully decorated and homey and comfortable. We had 5 people and enjoyed the extra space. We would definitely stay here again. The colosseum was just down the block!
