Bonito apartamento con ubicación perfecta

Un apartamento pequeño, un dormitorio más dos camas supletorias en una sala de estar, con una ubicación inmejorable, a 5 min caminando del Vaticano. El estado es bastante bueno, un poco más viejo de lo que se percibe en las fotos. Y la atención por parte de los dueños perfecta, todas las facilidades para recoger las llaves y resolver cualquier duda ó ayuda que hayamos podido tener.

Hermoso lugar! Es un departamento con mobiliario que te transporta en el tiempo y te hace vivir unos días como romano, el mismo tiempo cuenta con todos los servicios y utensilios para una estancia súper cómoda, muy cerca del Vaticano y el Castillo de san Angelo, lo amé!!!

Apartamento amplio con excelente ubicación

Nuestro viaje a Roma comenzó muy bien desde antes de la llegada, gracias a la atención brindada por Clara (la anfitriona). Resolvió todas nuestras dudas muy oportunamente y de forma muy cordial. El apartamento es amplio y tiene muy buena vista. Las fotografías corresponden fielmente al estado de la propiedad. Viajé con mi esposa y dos hijas adolescentes y los cuatro nos sentimos muy cómodos. La estadía de cinco noches incluyó la noche de fin de año, en la que pudimos subir salir a la terraza del edificio a ver los fuegos artificiales y a compartir con otros de los ocupantes del edificio. quienes fueron también muy amables. Clara coordinó nuestra llegada y nos brindó flexibilidad para hacer el check-in sin inconvenientes. También nos recomendó un servicio de transporte desde el aeropuerto con Constantino: recomiendo totalmente este servicio (no lo piensen si van con familia, es la mejor opción). Para la llegada olvidé coordinar el servicio con Constantino y tomamos un taxi del terror que condujo como un desquisiciado. Al regreso viajamos con Constantino y la experiencia fue inmejorable. El apartamento estaba muy limpio y bien dotado: (lavadora, calefacción, todos los implementos de cocina, ingredientes para preparar alimentos, etc.). La calle es muy tranquila y está muy cerca del Vaticano, el castillo de San Angelo y la avenidad de la Concialiación. A menos de dos calles hay supermercado, cafés, restaurantes y farmacias. Sin duda volvería a hospedarme aquí si vuelvo a Roma.

Wir haben eine tolle Woche in Rom und in dieser Ferienwohnung verbracht. Die Wohnung bietet eine wunderbare Aussicht über die Dächer von Rom und ist sehr günstig gelegen: wir haben viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erkundet. Viele Buslinien und die Metro sind schnell zu erreichen. Trotz der zentralen Lage mit Restaurants und Geschäften in unmittelbere Nähe ist die Wohnung in der Nebenstraße ruhig gelegen. Wir wurden von Francesca (Tochter der Vermieterin) sehr freunlich empfangen, sie gab uns viele Tipps und war für Fragen problemlos per WhatsApp erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist sehr gepflegt und sauber, nicht abgewohnt. Die Küche ist klein, aber praktisch, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. An die italienische Kaffemaschine haben wir uns schnell gewöhnt.Wenn wir noch einmal nach Rom reisen, würden wir gerne wieder hier wohnen.

The hosts did a great job by providing the early access even if easter monday was a holiday. the whole appartment was very clean and well furnished. We prepared meals in the wll appointed kitchen. There are 3 markets within 100 to 200 meters. Fresh supply of meats, wine cheeses etc. The location allowed us to walk to most of the popular sites, Vatican City, Pantheon, Trevi fountain, Fountain of the Four Rivers etc The hosts , the appartment and the location made this a memorable trip to Rome.

The host was attentive and check in was good. However advertised as a luxury penthouse apartment, it was not luxurious and is very dated. Amenities worked Ok and central in location.Apartment on the 7th floor. Elevator only up to the 6th floor and often did not work up to the 6th floor. Had to carry bags.

This was our second stay at this well located one bedroom apartment. Clara and Francesca were so helpful in responding to our questions and assistance. The apartment is well equipped with all you would need for a Roman holiday. The location is well situated to most sites. Especially enjoyed New Years fireworks at the nearby Castle St Angelo!

The apartment was located about 2-3 blocks away from the entrance to Vatican City which made our foot travels there very easy. Also being about 4-5 blocks away from the Metro A-Line at Ottaviano allowed great convenience getting all around Rome. The apartment itself was cozy and offered lovely views of Prati. The apartment was functional & offered a spacious shower which was a plus (as that’s hard to find in Europe). The building & the neighbors were pleasant & quiet. There was good access to several local/express grocery stores, good shopping, and nice restaurants. We utilized the helpful services book provided by the host’s to book our Airport Transportation for our departure. The book offered the host’s personal suggestions for local restaurants, shopping & services. We are appreciative of Francesca who allowed us to peak out on the rooftop for a great view of the top of St Peter’s. Overall, it was a very well located apartment offering full kitchen as a home-away-from-home & ease of access to a handful of Roman-area amenities.

Very charming place and we enjoyed the quaint elevator and found it to be an authentic experience. The owner's daughter was lovely and very helpful and accommodating. Very convenient for Vatican visits and for people who like to walk, other places in town are also walkable. Getting taxis via itTaxi to the location was very easy. The washing machine was a big plus and just using a drying rack worked just fine for us. Overall, the place was nice and charming but I would not call it a luxury accommodation. Minor vexations - there was no shampoo supplied and two rolls of toilet paper for our eight night family stay. While the listing does indicate there are added fees, it might be nicer to simply include it. When one is browsing dozens of places, it is easy to miss and the amount is not clear (here +200 for three people for an 8 night stay - at another place, we paid 19 Euros for three nights). The way the listing photos were, whether or not there was a view of the river or a balcony were not clear (neither). Some clarifications and improvements would certainly enhance one's experience. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and it was a positive experience.

Lovely Prati Penthouse

We spent about a month at this home near the Vatican, St. Peters, etc. It has amazing views and the benefit of an extremely responsive host who happens to live in the building. Feels residential enough that you don't have to feel like a tourist, but also very close to anything a tourist would want to do (you can see Sant Angelo from here). Great place and great hosts!

Charming traditional home

Rental was exactly as shown and stated in reviews. Host was very patient with us with are arrival delays, making the start of our stay much easier. Location was perfect in that everything was within walking distance with few exceptions. Good dining within 5 min walk along with grocery stores for staying in. Has an elevator/lift to get you to the 5th floor, the last level is stairs. Kitchen had everything you need to prepare a meals. Location was off the main streets which made it quite and relaxing with the windows open anytime of day or night. The only issues with the apartment was the bathroom having a strong mildew/mold smell similar to a damp basement. The bathroom was clean with the exception grout and sealant in and around the shower having mold/mildew stains. This issue was not enough to change our opinion of staying here again, we would. It was perfect for us.Bottom line is that I would recommend this to my friends and family. I fully plan on renting this on our next visit to Rome if it is available. If coming from FCO the SITA bus drops you within 5 min walk. Much easier than taking train into town.

A week in Rome

We enjoyed the proximity of the apartment to all of Rome’s highlights. Neighborhood restaurants were friendly and authentic (so delicious). The apartment was clean, easy to check-in and corresponded with the pictures.You will need to walk up one flight of stairs after the elevator ride, but the view is worth it.

Perfect Location- great property- excellent in every way

Loved the location - loved the property- loved everything! This location allowed us to walk to every major site we went to Rome to see Colosseum-check Sistine Chapel - check Jewish ghetto, pantheon, St Peters Basilica- check, check and check! We stayed 5 days which was perfect

Friendly, helpful owners

Overall clean. Kitchen floor was a bit grimy. Space is smaller than it looks in pictures. Neighborhood was very noisy on the weekend. Good walking distance to St. Peter’s and grocery stores. Owners were very helpful in getting us checked in and checking with us in advance and telling us where to park, shop, eat. Mar, the porter, even gave us his street parking spot so we would not have to pay garage fees for 4 days. Overall, lovely experience. Was a nice place to rest at the end of long days of site-seeing.
