“This is a beautifully situated old mill on a gentle stream with gorgeous grounds. Idyllic. Just outside Lymington but a short 8 minute drive into town or to the ferry. Dinner was good with excellent service. Nice room, comfy beds, good bathroom. We were there on the hottest day of the year so it was very hot in the room but a fan was provided which helped.”

“On arrival the staff were very helpful and friendly and the location was perfect for anyone using the Red Jet ferry and local shops. Leading from the reception the staircases and landings needed attention as they were very tired in appearance. On entering the room the bed looked nice with clean white sheets and was very comfy. “All staff interfaced with were fantastic and could not have been more helpful. The location of the Burley Inn is perfect to explore the New Forest,Christchurch and other coastal resorts. The bar is very well stocked and the food at breakfast is very good.Lunch and evening meals are also of a high standard.”

“Lovely setting, great welcome, food superb, staff friendly and helpful We had the suite (kingfisher) which was an excellent room except for a radiator being stuck on in the bathroom. The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! If I have any criticism of the room, a little use of bleach would have gone a long way but please don’t let that put you off. The place is very very good.
