Total relaxation from the start, Quiet area away from the masses. House was well supplied and very neatly organized. We felt just as comfortable as being at home.

Great House!

Our stay in this house was great - there were plenty of amenities (including baby gear, which was a lifesaver!). Close to trailheads and the resort, overall the perfect getaway spot!

Great getaway

We loved our 6 day stay at Oak Ledge! The house was a perfect mix of all the comforts of a hotel but mixed with the coziness of a private home! Great location, great home & great hosts - absolutely recommend staying there!

Christmas vacation

It was walking distance to the resort which was lovely, and the kids had the loft all to their themselves. We love the fact that we could bring our dog also.

Great Wintergreen Vacation

We had a great stay at the cabin. The house was very comfortable and well stocked. Tyler and Meredith were very responsive and provided a great guidebook. Will definitely stay at this cabin for another ski weekend.

Great Getaway!

The house was a great getaway location! Easy to walk to the resort for breakfast or dinner. The house had a great communal area for our group. Perfect for a trip to wine/beer taste in the surrounding area. Would definitely revisit!!

Cozy & Fun Getaway

The Oak Ledge was a cozy and fun place to stay with lovely Mountain Views. We enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen, firewood for the fireplace and gorgeous sunsets from the deck. The beds were very comfy and the layout was great for our family gathering. The hosts were very responsive and provided a wonderful Guidebook. We look forward to returning for a future stay!

Perfect stay for fall foliage

The property was in a perfect location to explore the area while being surrounded by beautiful fall colors. Tyler and Meredith were excellent, communicative hosts who made the check-in and check-out process easy and were quick to answer any questions we had. The house was clean, spacious, and had a well-stocked kitchen that allowed us to cook several meals. If ever traveling back with the same size of group, we would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Mountain Home in Resort Park

Place was great. We had three couples fit perfect. Home well updated and clean. Resort area nice and lots of wineries. Mountains are fantastic. Note, they have piped-in propane. No tanks and did not know. I recomend

Will be back!

A nice relaxing home with views of the blue ridge in the fall! Wake up early enough and you will see an amazing sunrise over the mountains. A short walk to Wintergreen resort or a short drive to breweries, wineries and trails.

Accurate photos and good communication

Our family stayed at this house for a beautiful fall weekend. The listing and photos were very accurate. The house was clean and owners were good communicators. We would not hesitate to recommend this home again.

Great Mountain Cabin!

We truly enjoyed our stay here in Wintergreen. The cabin is very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. Also, very close to the mountain lodge which has dining options and a little market nearby. Tyler and Meredith are very helpful and responsive with any questions you may have and provide suggestions for things to do. We loved hiking up to Crabtree falls and lunch at Devil's Backbone was delicious. Would definitely love to stay here again someday.

Great stay

We had a fabulous time in this very cozy and clean home. Home owners were very responsive and welcoming. Tyler and Meredith made sure we were aware of tornado warnings in the area. All was good. We would stay again, if in the area. The only thing I’d do is bring my own bed pillow, personal preference. Great stay, great place.

Comfy Cabin

Enjoyed the views outside and making a nice fire. Lots of adorable chipmunks, deer and squirrels to watch outside as well. The cabin is close to Wintergreen and the amazing overlooks where you can take photos. Also close to one of our favorite hikes at Upper Shamokin Falls. The hosts were very thorough and had a nice online guide as well as a hard copy book at the cabin to help you if you aren't familiar with the area.

Perfect Girls Weekend!

We loved this rental! The place is beautiful and very clean. Beds were comfortable and plenty of parking for all 6 of our cars between the driveway and street. There was an issue with coffee pods, but the hosts responded very quickly and got it resolved right away. Great location and close to local wineries and breweries. Highly recommend Sunday brunch at Bold Rock. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area!

Beautiful Home!!

This cabin is so cute! Well stocked in amenities, furniture and comfort! It was honestly one of the best homes we have stayed in. They even have fans for each room. Wonderful touch as we all sleep with white noise in our rooms. The owners went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay also, which was a welcomed addition. I would suggest this home to anyone wanting a quiet, beautiful stay in the Blue Ridge mountains! We walked the nearby trails, and saw deer each morning! You will not regret it!

Holiday Stay

We enjoyed the mountains and Oak Ledge over the 4th of July holiday week. Overall, the house is well outfitted, but we could have used a broom to sweep nature debris off the deck. Also, the owners promote their Nespresso machine and ask visitors to use their capsules, but all that were available were a couple of decaf options. Luckily, there was a French Press and we had brought coffee. Similarly, there was only one roll of paper towels, which would have been fine had we known we needed to bring our own. Beds were comfortable, the dining room table was spacious for meals and board games, and there were plenty of spaces to curl up with a book. Lovely quiet setting up in the woods.

Mountain Retreat

Oak Ledge is a spectacular place! The listing pictures and descriptions are very accurate. Newly updated, fresh, bright and clean. Plenty of room, with an open loft with enough space for family of 4 (additional great room with very large smart TV, queen bedroom, half bed and bunk beds). The deck added a lot. We loved having morning tea and reading/hanging out as a family on the deck. The fire table is very nice and grill worked great. Kitchen is extremely well outfitted. Our coffee drinkers appreciated the Nespresso pods provided. Great guide book for the house and things to do in area, available digitally too. In 3 days we did 2 hikes, cidery tour and drove Blue Ridge Parkway, all within 15 minutes of the house. Plan to come back for wineries, breweries, and more hiking. We highly recommend this house and the area for all ages.

Great Wintergreen Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were responsive to questions and included a website and guidebook with detailed information about the area. The house was very clean and well-maintained. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook. Beds were comfortable. The space was a bit smaller than we expected but still nicely appointed and comfortable. The gas grill and fire table have gas lines running to them so they were easy to use. There's no view in the summer, but probably is in the winter without leaves. Location was great, on a quiet street just a short walk to the Wintergreen Lodge (hint: use the walking path that cuts through the condos instead of walking on the road). We did not realize it is just off the Blue Ridge Parkway so you can get some great driving views very quickly. There's a hiking trail you can pick up at the end of the block, and it's about a 2 minute drive to an overlook with vista views (great place to watch the stars at night). There are 4-5 Wintergreen restaurants within a few minutes. There's also a small market and gas station not far from the house. Drive down the mountain (about 10-15 minutes) to get to cideries, breweries, other restaurants, shopping, and other activities. The owners are very pet-friendly and left a dog bed, dog food bowls, and even biscuits! One thing to note: there's no regular "yard" so when you have to walk your dog, you'll need to walk to the road and look for patches of grass. Overall it's a great place!

This was a great option for our stay in pretty much like a home away from home. Everything was very clean, very comfortable, and very easy to find. We had absolutely no problems with communication and setting up the reservation, and it was very easy to find the dwelling. I would definitely book this particular cabin again, absolutely no problems whatsoever and a very restful and enjoyable stay with outstanding amenities.
