“The staff were helpful, but the hotel itself is old and rundown, and for a pub not to have a bistro was a bit inconvenient”

“Parking was easy. Check-in was difficult as hours were limited and their phones didn’t work to discuss later check-in arrangements. Check out was 10:00, but was asked to return the keys by 9:30.. Room was cute and historic looking. Breakfast is lack lustre. Real eggs and butter vs “spread” would have made all the difference. Similar priced, but nicer places are nearby. Look around first. ”

“The unit was not clean. The floors look like they hadn't been mopped for months, the skirting boards in all the rooms have dirt and mould on them. There is spiders and spider webs along the cornice in all the rooms. The toilet seat in the ensuite was not clean, there is urine all around the top of the toilet and around the fittings of the toilet seat. It is advertised as having garage parking, however there is no remote to operate the garage door. The front door entrance is filthy, old grass...
