We stayed at this cabin over Thanksgiving week, and it was absolutely perfect. The views from the deck were stunning—waking up to the mountains every morning was such a treat. The cabin itself was cozy and had everything we needed to feel at home. The two fireplaces were a favorite spot for all of us to gather, especially in the evenings after a day of hiking and exploring Ruidoso's downtown area. The kitchen was fully stocked, which made cooking our meals a breeze. We even got to enjoy it outside on the deck, which felt so special. The little touches, like board games and super comfy beds, made it clear that a lot of thought went into making this place welcoming and homey. The location was great too—close enough to town for groceries and a bit of shopping, but far enough to feel peaceful and private. We also checked out Ruidoso Winter Park, Inn of the Mountain Gods, White Sands National Park, Picacho Land, and Bonito Lake, which was just a short drive away and a lot of fun.We loved seeing the wildlife on our drives around town and in the front yard - elk, wild horses, turkeys, and deer. Overall, this cabin was everything we hoped for and more. It made our Thanksgiving week so memorable, and we can’t wait to come back!
