I never spoke to the host or met them. The location was good. Amenities were okay. Tv up stairs did not work but we managed. No heat up stairs.

Trip to Ruidoso

The stairs to the second floor were hard to go up and down especially with suit cases. A nice place to stay for an older cabin. We enjoyed the outside patio. The beds were comfortable and basically had everything we needed.

Location great checkin kinda late perfer early checkin the stairs not in good location several head bumps the entry way to dinning was dangerous 2 guests tripped overall nice area clean just a few dangerous areas

Wonderful Place to stay

We loved this cabin and had a great family vacation. Everything was exactly as it was advertised. The house was clean and fully stocked for anything needed! I was contacted the day we traveled by the owner and they gave me a contact if we needed anything! Highly recommend this rental for your stay!

Nice Getaway

The property was nice. I enjoyed sitting out on the back deck and relaxing. I was weary about the spiral staircase, but it was not too bad although my husband did hit his head on it. Overall we enjoyed our time away at this property.

K’s 1st Ruidoso trip 2024

This property is perfectly located, the house is perfectly sized, and very spacious. Our 10 month had plenty of room to roam around the house in her walker!! Host is super friendly and quick to respond. We enjoyed it!! Thanks!!

Overall a good stay

I’m giving 3 stars because of the issues we had while we stayed, granted the property manager was very quick to get resolutions to the issues them being there were just an inconvenience. Me and my family stayed for thanksgiving and during our stay we could not use the upstairs restroom because the tub had a crack and was leaking into the downstairs restroom, the property manager did offer to have a plumber go by but who wants to deal with something like that while on vacation?! Also when we arrived they’re was twings and leafs in 3 of the 4 beds. The upstairs balcony door also did not work, again the property manager offered to have someone go by but honestly just didn’t want to deal with maintenance people during a vacation. Other than that the location was PERFECT! We saw so much wildlife, we were by everything.

Only complaints would be that the Dishes were dirty. There was no tv remote for the tv in the downstairs bedroom. The remote for the tv living room didn’t work.

Ok but wouldn’t rent again

The pictures made it look a lot bigger than it is. For a party of 8 it was not enough space to gather together in one area. Ie dinner table only had 5 chairs and living room only had space for 6 people squeezed in. Bedrooms were decent, deck was large and parking was great. For context, the cabin sits in a neighborhood with little space in between homes in case you are looking for a more secluded area. The back door knob needs to be fixed as it is broken and did not consistently work. “Basic kitchen necessities” does not include drinking glasses as there was only 1 glass in the entire kitchen. Not all blinds worked so some could not be opened. The issues above need to be addressed and for all of the above I would not rent again.

pictures are deceiving

The cabin and deck are not nearly as large as photos indicate. Even during rainy season the upstairs stayed very hot. Was told it was bc the AC thermostat was downstairs so it didn't read accurately. Asked for fans to move the air up the stairs was told none were available. Property manager said to open windows--no screens on ANY window so the flies were a nuisance. Not helpful or accommodating. The house may sleep 8 but definitely doesn't seat 8--den or kitchen. On a positive note the location was super convenient to downtown, shopping, accessibility to casinos, and the horse races.

Great get away

Really enjoyed the stay. Very peaceful and enjoyed the watching the deer roaming around . Management team was very helpful

We had a great time staying at this cabin. We had everything we needed for our week long family vacation. Cabin was cozy and inviting! Enjoyed our stay!
