“Very nice. We were in the newer section in the back - the space worked for us. Overall the hotel is fine - we ate dinner there once. Sat on the porch which was a little cold - they have plastic curtains to close it off (to a degree) and radiant heaters. Seems like they were a bit light on staffing - saw only 2 waitstaff - so they had a hard time keeping up. We were there at the end of the season (mid April) so I need to cut them some slack.
Russell is nice and peaceful, but quite small. ...

“Well appointed room and lovely welcome from owners on arrival. Really good views of Russell township and the water / boats. Only thing I would say, bring some strong legs if you plan on walking - the driveway is STEEP hahaaaa. Had a very pleasant stay (5 nights).”

The lodge is exceptionally well maintained, spotless, and clearly run with great attention to detail. We would especially like to thank the fantastic hosts, Greg and Peter.
