“Great location & wonderful amenities! You can’t beat the beauty of the river’s view and the woods that surround the property. We stayed with our two young sons and they loved playing outside, the arcade games, and the dock. The only draw back for families is not having an internal staircase, but it wasn’t too much of a problem for us. This is definitely more for a rustic getaway rather than a luxurious stay. It worked very well for our family of boys. ”

I am a huge Gone With the Wind fan and this property brought you back to the South prior to the Civil War all we needed were ball gowns to make it really authentic. The owner genuinely seemed to not know about the issue and offered to come take a look and was very responsive. We used a door bar gadget to secure the door. We also had to clean up a bit including sweeping and cleaning kitchen sink and counters. Those were missed by the cleaner.
