“Beautiful, pristine home well-appointed in every way (ok, I'd add in tissue boxes, but that is a quibble). Hosts were responsive. I'd certainly stay here again.”

“House was comfortable, clean and well stocked. We were hiking a section of the AT and it was very convenient to several trailheads and a store in Bland. We enjoyed relaxing on the front porch after our hikes amongst the peaceful countryside and friendly grazing cows! Awesome sunsets as a bonus.”

“Wonderful. Roomy and comfy inside, big outside sitting area on side porch, all the amenities we needed were provided. ”

“The house with the fenced yard was excellent for our needs with 2 dogs and 5 people. Only issue was there wasn't much info provided about things like where to put the trash, setting up the tv, or any checkout instructions. But the property was really nice.”

“The location is perfect, the home is charming and all the extras like the hot tub and out building and fire pit add to the magic. The host was wonderful and I would recommend this place to everyone. Absolutely beautiful! ”

“Very nicely renovated and roomy. Tight parking for a truck in the carport but we made it work. Nice to have covered parking area. Nicely appointed. A king bed would have been appreciated but kitchen was nicely stocked with everything we needed. Cute little bungalow. Although neighbor's house was in state of disrepair, we did meet him and his dog and he was very nice. Neighborhood under renovation with some houses in really bad shape but safe area even though it didn't appear that way. ...

“This was a beautiful location, clean cabin, and great amenities. Everything we needed me more. We had a women’s retreat with 10 women, and there was plenty of room! Thank you for a great experience! We also enjoyed going into the town of West Jefferson to explore!”

“We came here with both our girls and the husbands. They both have recently got married. So we are empty nesters. We had a blast. We played board games, had dinner, rode the creeper, shop and made tons of memories. We came here to celebrate mine and my husbands 50th birthdays ”

“Perfect location, layout & amenities for our adult short term mission team to work in the Mountain City area on repairs of damages from Hurricane Helene. ”

“Comfortable little country home with a great hot tub. Nature views, animals coming through the back yard are always pleasing. We usually come in the fall, but it was great as well in the Spring. We bike the New River trail and look forward to coming “home” and relaxing afterwards. The outdoor furnishings need some work and windows and shades need some extra cleaning attention. That view from the expansive windows is a real eye-pleaser! We added an extra day to our stay. ”

“This was the perfect place for parents and grandparents to stay for VT Graduations! We were able to gather for multiple dinners, enjoys each others company and avoid the hustle and bustle around the campus traffic. We made some great memories during our short and sweet visit.”

“Upon arrival a few minutes before 4 PM, we were surprised to find the driveway completely covered in thick snow, despite the surrounding roads and other driveways being clear. With both an AWD and a 4x4 vehicle, we still struggled to get traction and ended up sliding down. Our family had to manually shovel and sand the driveway just to attempt access.To make matters worse, when some family tried to enter the cabin at check-in time, the entry code didn’t work. I called the rental office at least...
