The place is super cute, but the functionality was lacking. Not suitable for elderly folks. No handrails on the steps outside or anything to grab onto in the shower. The water is either scolding hot or cold, and the place was super frigid when we arrived. We had a 6-night stay, and there were a total of 3 clean washcloths for our party of 4. There is also no washing machine - which wouldn't have been a huge deal if we had had more washcloths. There are no hangers, which makes sense when you realize there is no place to hang any clothing anyway, lol. However, there was an iron and an ironing board. The bedrooms themselves have no climate control of any sort, so if privacy is your thing, this is not the place for you. Thankfully, we brought heaters from our family cabin down the road and could heat the rooms at night and shut the doors. There was an odor that I assume was coming from the septic and, at times, was rather unpleasant. The beds were comfy, and the aesthetic/decor was nice. The appliances worked well, but the cookware is non-stick (terrible for your health) that is so beat up and damaged that I'm sure we ingested our fair share of Teflon. The property manager is very nice and was helpful when I needed to reach out to her. This post in no way is meant to be a poor reflection of her - just facts about the location and our experience from a functional standpoint.
