Initially, we never received check-in information, so I had to reach out once we arrived. They then got us in right away.However, once we were inside, it was very clear that it had not been cleaned at all; stinky trash, rotting food in the sink and in the fridge, dirty sheets, etc. We tried to reach out to the hosts, but they did not reply to us until 2 days later, when they let us know that they left us paper towels on the doorstep. I had already let them know that we had to leave, as the conditions were so bad, so I don't know why they left paper towels! (I guess they expected me to do all the laundry, remake the beds, take out the trash, clean the fridge, sweep the floors, etc, and that paper towels would help!) The hosts have ghosted us about everything concerning this situation, but we do keep getting the automatic messages about checking out, "hope you enjoyed the stay" etc. :-( (We did NOT stay, and we did NOT enjoy having to go get hotel rooms last minute to accommodate our group, and we're not happy that they won't refund our money.) They have since ghosted VRBO administrators as well.
