Stay for Family Wedding

We rented this home so our family could all stay in the same place, for a family wedding, as opposed to having multiple rooms in a hotel. The house was extremely clean and very spacious. The kitchen contained everything we need to enjoy some takeout meals and breakfasts. The decor was beautiful and not overpowering. We would absolutely stay in this house again and recommend it to anyone.

Great location for the price

House was clean and worked well for what we needed. I would give em this a 5 star if it wasn't for poor communication. I submitted the document ASAP for a 4:00 check-in, which is normally 5:00 (which is ridiculous). Our arrival time was early so I messaged them three times asking for an early check-in without any response. I received a generic auto reply. We had to request a special code to access washer and dryer which we didn't get until the 3rd day.

We stayed in the Sun House home in mid-September. The house is a great size, the master is weirdly big. The 'master' bathroom on the other hand, is tiny. The shower stall is too small to bend over to pick up the soap and there is no counter space. The house is sparsely equipped - no extra bedding, one set of towels for each guest, and only two dishtowels. The house easily sleeps 8, but the inside dining area only had 5 chairs. There is a nice (dusty, but nice) eating area outside - as long at it isn't too hot. There were no pot holders. The air conditioning works well, although the stand-alone unit in the master bedroom is a bit loud for sleeping. Just a bit of road noise – I didn’t find it a problem. The garbage and recycling containers were full. The house would be great for parties, but there apparently have been noise complaints from neighbors. The owners were very communicative about this and asked to know more about my plans for the house. They were very responsive and willing to listen, which I appreciated. One last observation - with the final email notice a few days before the trip, came a set of agreements to be 'signed.' There were additional cleaning options, as well as something like 'images in advertisement may not be the same as the property'. This was uncomfortable to read after the trip had already been paid for. This information and these conditions would be better posted before committing to renting the space. Maybe they are, but if so I missed them.

Very comfortable accommodation

The house was as represented. Very comfortable beds and fully equipped kitchen with bare necessities in terms of spices and oil. A few basic condiments would have been good to have. I was with a group attending a conference and the location and space configuration was perfect.

Clean and modern

The house is very clean with modern furnishings and updated kitchen appliances. We were there during cold weather and it was difficult to get the master bedroom as warm as the rest of the house and the heater is a bit noisy. The kitchen is very minimally equipped with utensils and cooking equipment so if you are going to do a lot of cooking you might want to check with the manager or bring key items like measuring spoons and mixing bowls…..pots and pans were sufficient. There were no dish towels provided, although they are pictured in the listing. I asked the property manager to drop some by and was told “unfortunately, we do not offer dish towels, but there is a roll of paper towels”. I brought this up with the owner and he is going to be sure they are provided going forward. The internet was not working when we arrived and we had to be present for a technician the following day, which required us to rearrange our plans…..this was a bit frustrating as my son needed the internet for his remote work. So while there were definitely a few things to be improved upon, the house is clean and the beds are comfortable.

Clean house, good location, and friendly hosts

Our family of 6 adults needed a place to stay for a wedding at the Arden Hills Resort. The location was perfect (only 12 minutes away) and the house was in a clean and quiet neighborhood with ample parking. There were also many restaurants and stores a short drive away. The pictures advertised were accurate and the house was impeccably clean! We didn't cook during our stay but the kitchen appeared well equipped and had wine glasses available. My only suggestion would be to provide more than one towel per person and luggage racks or furniture in the bedrooms so that you don't have to put your bags on the floor. The hosts communicated frequently and checked in during our stay to see if we needed anything. All in all it was a great stay and I would confidently recommend to anyone in the area.

Nice, quiet, spacious property.

Very quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The house is modern, spacious, clean and very accommodating. Our group was 5 adults including 1 couple. The house is quiet w/in as well, none of us were disturbed come bedtime when turn in times differed for some of the group. Nice place to stay, would definitely recommend.

Great stay!

House was nice, clean and in a great location. Parking was onsite and neighborhood was quiet. Wifi is good for WFH! Property worked well for our purpose and owner/Mgr worked well with us.

This was a nice stay, but the only letdown was that the dining room's AC couldn't keep up with the summer heat. We couldn't spend any time in there during the latter part of the day.

We were a family of 7 and property easily accommodated all of us. There was plenty of parking space, the neighborhood was in a nice area, and quiet. The home had most everything you would need. We really appreciated the coffee in the morning, the seasonings to use for cooking, and the soaps and shampoo/conditioner. We enjoyed our time and would stay again.

My family was in Sacramento for a family reunion. Everything was great. The kitchen had the essentials for meal prep, beds were comfy, and the host was easy to get ahold of. Highly recommend.

The house is very clean and comfortable to live in, but some things in the kitchen should be brought at home, such as paper towel, plastic wrap, etc. If you need to cook rice, bring your own rice cooker.
