B&B en Saffron Walden

“No es un hotel, es un centro de reuniones de la Universidad de Cambridge, que cuenta con todas las facilidades de un hotel. Las habitaciones son espaciosas, agradables y limpias, pero no tiene las facilidades de un hotel. Diría que equivalen a un hotel 3 estrellas. Es muy simpático, tomar desayuno con los profesores de la Universidad que están asistiendo a sus reuniones.”

“Great restaurant and good location in a quiet neighborhood near Cambridge. The staff was very accommodating and even kept the kitchen open late to provide us dinner upon our late arrival. Rooms are small but well appointed & good value for the price. The bed size was advertised as king but it was a double which is small for us. The windows do not open in the room (perhaps for safety as the rooms are all ground floor) so the room was a bit stuffy and warm for our comfort. A fan was provided,...

“Fantastic B&B. Beautiful room, really comfy bed. Hosts were lovely and the breakfast was magic; a fine selection of buffet items plus a freshly cooked fry up. 11 out of 10, I really hope I'm nearby in the future for another visit. “We arrived early aprox 9AM and the place was closed. It said that was open 24 hrs a day, but we waited until 11AM and nobody showed. At 11AM was check-out time, but still there was no one to be seen. One person was cleaning the bar, and we knocked on the window but did not answer. We had to go and get a room somewhere else. I would not recommend this place. It is not a true hotel or B&B. We stopped in the afternoon telling them of our cancellation and asking for our money back, but they said...

“We had a lovely stay at Little Barham that we were staying at for a family party and trip to Colchester Zoo. It was a super comfortable bed, lovely setup with the zed bed for our son, lovely tea/coffee facilities and fantastic bathroom. The breakfast was amazing with eggs from the chickens laid that morning. They’re such a lovely couple running it and they went out of their way to accommodate our needs which we are hugely grateful for. ”

“The host checked before my arrival what time I'd be booking in. Unfortunately I was early so they were out but Alison was very accomodating when I said I'd be back around 10pm. Place was lovely and room was very comfortable with an array of items on the room to make my stay more comfortable. Overall would highly recommend but would also advise to close your windows before bed as the crows and peacocks woke me up at 5am!”
