You have arrived, you park in front of the cottage. You discover its exterior, the charm of the stone, the intimate courtyard, the small cool veranda, the shrubs that shade the space. You go through the gate, enter the courtyard, on the left a veranda-type room, which is used to store outdoor furniture, or to make your meals if you want to be indoors/outside. Want to see the rest? You enter the main room, the lounge area on your right, new sofa (April 2024), 4K connected TV. In front of you the large dining table, placemats, small homemade things... A decorative fireplace, then to your left the large space for cooking, American fridge, induction hob, dishwasher, etc. Everything for breakfast. Filter and senseo coffee makers, kettle, toaster 🍞. At the end of the room, a laundry room/WC, window. Then let's take the stairs to visit the first floor. Upstairs, opposite, the bathroom with toilet, window and a sink. On the right is the largest bedroom. Bed 160x200, cupboard with shelf and wardrobe. Window on the courtyard, and skylight. Air conditioning unit in this room. On the left the 2nd bedroom with 2 beds 80x200 or 160x200 depending on needs. Window on the alley, and roof window. In this room, at the back, a small space that allows me to store household linen. But also toys for the little ones. The cot, the baby bath.... On the comfort side, mosquito nets equip the windows, as well as double curtains, blinds for the roof windows. The hamlet is charming, the green environment with the park, the small river of fresh water that crosses it. Majestic trees, tables for cool chatting, the city's large parking lot which offers visitors the possibility of parking in the shade, and a charging station for electric vehicles. Let's not forget the source of drinking water where you will not fail to go and help yourself! As for visits in the Périgord Noir there is an embarrassment of choice (and it's not just an expression!), you will visit magnificent sites that you know by reputation for the most part and included in the brochures, such as Sarlat, La Roque Gageac, beynac, castelnaud, castles, bastides, caves, extraordinary gardens, summer entertainment, river sports, gourmet markets, village markets etc. No doubt I have forgotten things.... Do not hesitate to write to me for more information. We look forward to welcoming you to our cottage. Marie and Patrick.
