“The containers were super clean and the A/C kept it very cool. We loved the outdoor shower and the bathroom was kept very clean. Although we only cooked one breakfast, we found all the equipment we needed including a mini-grill and a coffee pot. Whatever we forgot was something we could buy on an honor system and we got our own shelf in the fridge. The birds were amazing, darts and frisbees were fun to have, loved the access to free snorkel stuff, and we really liked our host! ”

“This place is a hidden gem!! the rooms are rundown, but have what you need. They even have extra beach gear, including bags, towels, toys to borrow.Dave and Karen run it like a bed-and-breakfast -where they take care of their guests and they encourage guests to get to know each other. We met a lot of nice people during the rum punch happy hour and breakfast time. We will definitely stay here when we return to St. John!”

“We were met at the ferry dock by Michelle who took us and our luggage to the Grande Bay Resort where she handed us our room keys and gave us an overview of the studio and resort amenities. The studio is well equipped with a small kitchen and washer and dryer with plenty of room for a couple. A view of Cruz Bay from the balcony made for a good spot for morning coffee and the location allows you to be anywhere in Cruz Bay in just a few minutes (including a short walk to the Dolphin Market). “Location most definitely stands out for this cottage! You are as close as you possibly could be to Cruz Bay-Restaurants, Bars, Live music, Grocery Store and Coffee Shop!You have your own entrance to your cottage which was nice, extra beach towels in the laundry room, and beach chairs and snorkel gear were also provided! Note: There is roaster that lives here and can be pretty loud in the mornings. The hill back up from the restaurant/bar area is not for the weak. Highly recommend! ”
