The Plough House with 4 bedrooms

La Charrue is our largest cottage — and one of the highest-rated on the property (5/5). With its 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, it comfortably accommodates up to 10 people. It's the perfect size for a large family, a birthday celebration, or several couples with children traveling together.

Inside, you'll find a large open-plan living room and kitchen—the central living space where everyone gathers. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, oven, stovetop, microwave, washing machine, complete set of dishes, and ample space for several people to cook without getting in each other's way. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout.

Sleeping arrangements: one bedroom with a king size bed (180cm), one bedroom with a double bed (140cm), one bedroom with two single beds (90cm), and one bedroom with four single beds (90cm) (perfect for children).

Outside, your private enclosed garden features a terrace, garden furniture, and a barbecue. It's one of the largest private gardens on the estate—perfect for playing and eating outdoors, and well-suited for families with young children.

La Charrue is part of the Domaine de Rochebonne, our former family property now a holiday estate. No more than 9 families at a time on the estate, in a walled park of 13,000 m² entirely car-free. Heated communal swimming pool open 24 hours a day from May 1st to October 1st, wooden fort, sandpit, swings, badminton, football pitch and pétanque court. Pets are welcome (supplement of €15/stay).

Practical information: bakery 800m away, butcher 1.4km away, village restaurants a 5-minute walk. Beaches a 10-minute drive, bridge to Île d'Oléron 8km away, Royan 24km away, La Rochelle 55km away. We live on-site, will personally welcome you, and remain available throughout your stay.
