There are plenty of places to explore on foot or bike and the fields and woods teem with interesting wildlife. The comfortable accommodation is on one level and has been furnished and equipped to a high standard.

The property is ideally situated to explore the area and is within easy reach of many local attractions such as Bordeaux, St Emilion, Blaye, Saintes, and the golden beaches of Royan. Airports (Bordeaux, La Rochelle) are equidistant (approx 1 hour) and the nearest ferry port is St Malo
